    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: By staying in-character at all times, while knowing my character and world limitations
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: by breaking immersion, and also sharing information out of roleplay that people shouldn't know makes the actual roleplay lose its's fun

Physical Description: an old bearded man, 5,6 feet tall, eyes are never open, he wears a purple mage robe with golden details and a red rash and a pair glasses
Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Changed Status to Under Review

 

Hi there! Your application has been put on pending as there are changes that need to be made before you can be accepted. See below. 

  • Please make sure to include at least six sentences in your roleplay scenario! If you’re stumped on what to add. I recommend saying where you are from, how was it growing up? Maybe talk about your parents? Etc.
  • Please make sure to mark out what your character is saying with quotation marks. Example: Judy laughs. “How are you doing?” 
  • Please make sure to use actions in your backstory/roleplay scenario. This is just to ensure we know what you are doing!  When talking about your character’s actions! Remember to use 3rd person! Example: Judy stomps her foot on the ground. “How dare you!” she screams.
  • Your Roleplay Scenario & Backstory states that you know how to use magic! Please know that you can’t learn how to use magic until you are on the server. If you have any questions please message me! 

 

If you do not make these changes within 48 hours,  you will be denied. When you are finished, please message me on Discord @cheese1sgrater to let me know, or if you don’t have Discord, send me a forum message, and please do ask if you have any questions.
