    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: I try to be realistic and ask myself, could I do it irl(depending on what rp it is, of course)

Physical Description: green skin, 5'4 small gold hoop earrings, no shirt, winter boots with torn cloth around the waist, and short hair with a fade
Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

((How do you respond?))

Example: My character would lift his head and look the lady in her eyes and say "to adventure, ma'am!" while smiling, showing all of his teeth(sorry I couldn't write more, I hate to half it, but this is all my character would do) 

"Oh, I just, uh…" you stutter, tensing up. You eye the crone, then back outside the tent. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until…
