James Hellwound was born in 1753 into a restricted Hansentian company. This company was made of refugees. In fact, they all escaped after the huge defeat of the Battle of Upper Rodenburg. They are all descendants of the Empire of Renatus, where they lived. His father was Harold Hellwound and his mother was Jordane Havenbeam. Harold was a proud warrior, who was repeatedly given responsibilities in patrolling the mountains where they live. Jordane spent most of her time in reading and studying medicine, his greatest passions.
In this context James acquired the first cultural skills, staying at home with his mother.
Once he reached the age of 11, James began to approach the world of combat and the chivalric code of honor. He became also passionated about the history of his race and his ancestors. An incredible sense of pride for his origins and his people will lead him to despise many other races he will meet during his life. With the approach to hand-to-hand fighting, he started to study the history of his race and his ancestors. Inspired by the ideals of several of his ancestors of the Teutonic Order, he shapes his fighting style on the Teutonic Soldiers’ one.
Once he reachead the age of 16, James went against many of the most important people of his community. All these discussions where about ethical questions regarding the loss of the values of the ancients from whom they come. His sense of honor for his ancestors leads him not to take a step back, so that, in order to avoid internal conflicts, he was expelled from the community.
Desolate that he can no longer meet his parents, that he can no longer serve his people, he begins a journey to discover as much as possible of the surrounding world. The urgent need to find out informations about the surrounding world increases. He had to know what was hidden beyond the mountains of the North in which his community lived. He had to know more about the surrounding realms, like the Holy Orenian Empire.
At this moment he started his journey, the journey that will lead him to find himself and decide what to do with his future.

James, almost frustrated by the loss of time that is supposed to be that conversation, replies without hesitation: "Thank you for the welcome, Gentleman, but the reason I'm in this city is not your business. I wish you a good day" . After this answer, he continued his walk to the market, hoping not to waste any more time in unwanted conversations.
