Adjusting her mangled hood to make eye contact with the man, a tired sigh begins her remark. “Safety, foremost”. Without waiting very long for his reply, she extends a hand out to him and, with the other, removes the hood from her head and wipes sweat from her brow, realizing how unfriendly she had come off. “I’m Elke.”
