    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: I always let my character have real flaws. Failure shouldn't be seen as losing but as character development.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: It creates unfair advantages and ultimately pressures others to metagame too.

Character Name: Julian Shepherd
Character Race: Human
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 20
Physical Description: Early twenties, average height and lean build. Dark brown hair kept simply and cut short. An open and plain face.
Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

I take a slow, careful step forward and made my way towards the cushion. I offered a mild smile in an attempt to hide my caution but I could tell she saw right through me. "I'm here for answers," I say, meeting her gaze. "They say travelers have been disappearing in the marshes east of here." I let in a heavy breath before continuing, "I've been told, you know of it more than anyone." I pause, letting the words hang in the heavy, mossy air. "And... I suppose I also want to know why you've been expecting me."
