My name is Teusmo, I'm 34 years old, and I'm not much of a talker. I was born on a cargo ship while my family was trying to start a new life in distant lands. Since I was a kid, I grew up seeing posh people, covered in gold and posing, bossing others around while we did the hard work. I never had the patience for all that ostentation from those who think they're better just because they have a title.
I spent a good part of my life working in warehouses, taking care of stock and supplies. While people admired pretty speeches and statues, I saw the mess behind them. The last straw for me was when I was hired to look after the supply wagons during a war campaign. I saw many lords trying to pose as heroes and wasting resources in the middle of the ice just to show off.
I got tired of working for other people's dreams. I left everything and now I'm a free man. I'm traveling and collecting wood and stone to open my own business, "The Trading Post." It will be a simple place, without luxury, to sell tools and food, truly useful things. My plan is to have my own space and my independence, without having to bow down to anyone. If the deal is fair and quick, we can talk; if it's just idle chatter, I prefer silence.
