    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Forcing an action upon someone in a way that doesn't allow them to properly respond.

Faerin was born in Elveneese to a family teachers, his mother being a librarian and his father being a teacher. Growing up Faerin liked to read and write, occasionally going out to play with his father. Him and his father played with wooden sticks acting as if they were swords, or would just going to the river to fish. When his father was teaching and nobody was there to keep an eye on him Faerin would be able to go with his mother to her library to read fairy tales or fables with his mother.

During Faerin's school years he was a particularly smart student getting good grades in things like reading, writing, and other subjects. Although he was a smart student he struggled with mathematics through out his school life.

Once Faerin was an adult he was set out on exploring Almaris, wanting to see the nations, amazing sights, all in all have the adventure of his life. He now explores Almaris, documenting things like places he's been, people he's met, things hes done. Etc.

Faerin continues to travel Almaris seeking out new adventures, new challenges, and most importantly... New friends.

Physical Description: The male stands at 5'10 with a thin build. He has brown hair, dark eyes. He wore a satchel, with a white shirt underneath a coat.
Roleplay Scenario:

My character would step off the boat with a grin, confidence in his step. He'd see the man and would respond with, "I thrive knowledge in the city, and yes mostly for the adventure." My character would continue to chat until the conversation ended, going about his day.
