Krostil was born of average birth in Karel a busy city mostly populated by humans, To a middle class Mercantile family. His father the proud owner of multiple small business's across Karel. His mother left when he was still a babe in his cot, Lusted away by a man of better birth and higher status. The years passed and Krostil grew and began to absorb the world around him, his father ensured he sharpened his mind as it were a whetstone by teaching him to read from a young age. Krostil fell in love with literature and books, books about warfare, books about previous rulers and their kingdoms. Krostil often found himself staying inside studying more than going outside a lot due to his alabaster birthmark upon his left eye and runs onto his cheek. Karel a populated human city meant that Krostil was bullied commonly by human children about his birthmark and sometimes about his greyish blue tinted skin, as time went on Krostil's temper grew shorter and he began fighting groups of other children alone not always winning but relentless and strong in his anger. This went on into his teens and got him into trouble with local families and the city watch.

Krostil began to notice a decrease in his fathers wealth and a decline in his own happiness into his late teens, his father began to lose business and gain heavy debt, Already worn down from Krostils mother leaving him, This led to his father beginning to give up on himself and the business and so he sought to seek loans from cutthroats in the city with him being unable to pay them back. Krostil nearing now just barely a man himself found himself carrying his own father home from the tavern drunk and unable to walk himself back home washing away the pains in his life. Forgetting his business's and seemingly his only son.

One late night as they are going through their front door into their home two cutthroats ambushed them from behind and punched them into the house and began beating his father to death with clubs. Krostil remembers feeling helpless as he watched his father scream at his own death. Murdered and forgotten for his debts and empty promises. As he died Krostil was kicked unconscious and awoke to find his home ransacked and empty. His books and belongings torn apart and burnt.Taking what little he had, he left the city in the early hours of dawn bruised and battered, unsure of where he was heading.

In his wanders Krostil spent his time reading what he could find and buy and over the years and getting into some scuffles on the roads, over time he found himself growing tired of wandering and wished to settle,Krostil settled in Providence for a brief few years renting a small home and using his time to learn and think about what this life holds for him. When he left providence Krostil made his way too Karosgrad and also spent time there often visiting their museum, fascinated by their relics and artefacts, raising hopes within Krostil he too might uncover and acquire his own relics and artefacts of old and raise his status in this world.
