    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Meta gaming is the act of using information obtained whilst out of character so that it may be used to influence actions taken in roleplay, often providing an advantage for those who use such methods.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Power gaming is when a person performs feats that do not provide ample opportunity for an opponent to respond to roleplay, such as "John swings his sword at the mans head, cutting it off and killing him."

Edward was raised in the Human capital of Helena and born to a fairly well off family, his father being a merchant. As such, his upbringing did not present him with many hardships. From a young age he developed a keen interest in archery, practising as often as he could and competing in various competitions around Arcas. Equipped with such skills he was able to provide for his family as well as his fathers business, bringing in various pelts and other trophies for his family to sell. As a young man, Edward cared little for the various goings on around him, nor his place of birth, dear Helena. He would charter a ship to the continent of Aeldin, settling in a small fishing town where he would remain for several years, mainly drinking and gambling with the various sailors and fishermen that populated the town. With his skills seriously diminished due to a lack of commitment and a fondness for drink, the young Edward finally decided it was time to return to Arcas and to his family. They would welcome him back with open arms. Keen to prove himself once more and to serve his Empire faithfully, the eager Edward enlisted in the Imperial Legion right before the conflict with Oren would start. During this arduous time he would develop many close connections with various Legionaries as he made his way about the continent, fighting for his family and for his country.

Physical Description: A pale looking youth with a mop of dark brown hair and forest green eyes. He would maintain a strong build.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
