Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Renegold chuckles, examining the elderly woman. "A lot of women expect me..." A sarcastic smirk crosses his face. "Although, you're a bit out of my age range. I don't usually share my life story with strangers unless I've had something to drink..." Renegold paces the room before sitting down opposite the old crone. "... But I'll bite. You know might know my father, Arthur Highley. That's right. Now you might be asking yourself 'What is the son of a nobleman doing in this barren town?'. Well, long story short: I'm wanted for my father's murder. I would tell you I didn't do it if I thought you'd believe me. Hell, maybe you're just strange enough to believe it. But the truth is my father's dead, my noble status stripped, and my father's killer roams freely." Renegold stands up and brushes dust off his turncoat. "Do me a favor and don't tell anybody my name." He turns and leaves the tent.
