    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is gaining information from places not in-game and then using them to your advantage in-game.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Forcing your character to be stupidly powerful and not really paying attention to how it would be if it actually happened.

What brings me to this city is not of your concern, but to entertain your fancy, if I had to say why I am here, it would be to elevate my place in society. So I may one day stand atop my parents and show them that I am not as weak as they assumed me to be.
