Born into a society of scholars and those who strive for knowledge, Elliot was raised alone by his father. His mother, Primrose Albright, had sadly died upon Elliot's birth- leaving Elliot's father, Mattias, heartbroken. However, despite such a tragic death, Mattias would raise his son to have the same strive of knowledge that he shared. Elliot was homeschooled by his father, who had graduated from a college within' their homeland- learning the basics and studying writing & history. Elliot was taught the basics as well, and would grow to be an intelligent boy by the time he was twelve. Keeping to himself through his years, Elliot spent most of his time reading in his father's library. He wasn't a very social boy, and thus that went on for a good five years. By the time he was seventeen was when he started to have a fascinating with learning more. The books he read spoke of different lands, and thus he pleaded with his father to let him travel. His father was not accepting of the idea, and was more focused on keeping Elliot at home. This would not fly for the boy, and so he ran away from home with a satchel on him, some rations, and a book from home. Getting close and soon sneaking onto the closest ship he could get on. Elliot spent months on the ship, sneaking food for himself when his rations ran out, before soon landing in Almaris- his journey just beginning.
I would take a moment to realized what was happening since i am not really used to people just casually walking up to me. Though after a moment i would respond by telling him that i was not in search of anything specific but rather wanted to enjoy the scenery. I'd also ask him for directions.
