In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: To define in my own words, power-gaming is like being a god in roleplay, it destroys the story and it upsets all parties trying to play fair.

Status: Denied

Born in the slums of Oren, Dex didn't have a lot to begin with. He opted to try some jobs and farming, but he would be turned away again and again. What he does now is a life of crime and traveling to keep himself fed and get goods he needs. Dex doesn't mind a good job here and there, but he often does like the thrill that comes from being a bandit.

Physical Description: Standing 5' 11", blonde and muscular, Dex is always looking for a deal. He isn't against anyone, but that is because of what he does.

Roleplay Scenario:

Dex would frown at the man that approached him. He put his hand on his hilt near his sword and stare at the eccentric man. "Go find an answer somewhere else, Sir."
