    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is using information that your in RP character would not naturally know in RP. For example knowing a characters race/name just from reading their username would be considered metagaming.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is acting unrealistically (usually in combat) where your character is able to do things/feats of strength that are not realistically possible. Powergaming usually is evident when one player does not give the other player any chance to react to

Barusu, a citizen of the Princedom of Fenn alongside the siblings he was brought up with was an unfitting character amongst those of his race, his unusual lack of resistance to the cold having forced him to constantly keep himself bundled up in warm clothing and sway from playing amongst the other elf children during his childhood. Instead he sharpened his mind, experimenting with the archane arts to tinker with tools and create accessories and tools to help ease the problems caused by his lack of cold resistance. He enjoyed a comfortable life pursuing knowledge until the age of 15 where he was forced into the military. Barusu struggled immensely in the initial years of his military training, though he was not weak willed enough to break from the intense training, that of which left him with a stronger more reliable body. 
Several years later Barusu remains a tinkerer, though now it was his specialism and career. That of which he utilised each day, assisting his siblings with his odd “gears” and arming them with ranged weapons imbued with magical properties.

Physical Description: An averagely sized 5'9 snow elf with pale white skin, turquoise eyes and pale blonde hair. Bundled up in a fur hood and goggles.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

  • Your definition of metagaming is good but not quite up to our standards, please correct it. You may use this link for assistance but remember not to plagiarize. 
  • Your biography has two discrepancies in it. The first of which is that your bio must contain at least two pieces of server lore, I only see one, you may refer to our wiki to get a second piece of lore. Secondly, your character may not posses any arcane abilities or knowledge at the start, you must learn this in role-play, please correct that as well. 
  • Your interesting facts fall in line with the reason I listed above as well. Your persona may not have the ability to utilize arcane arts right off the bat. Please correct this.
