    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is using out-of-character knowledge in a roleplay situation. If your character does not know it you must roleplay that way. Organizing in-character roleplay via Skype or messaging friends privately is metagaming, especially when asking for help
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming: John slices off Tom’s arm, severing it entirely. (Here you demand that Tom has lost his arm).

Tony was born in Kal'Nerroth and was there with his dad for several years then suddenly his mother died by explosion in a mine where she worked ...

Suddenly his dad wasnt able to care for his son so he sent him to his old friend he lived in a mountain named ******** and he teached him some Arcane Magic spells he started easy by ilusions now he is master of ilusions. When he uses ilusion it looks like it is real he can hold ilusions for several hours but when he started the ilusions it looked real but with more time he was holding  it it started being more and more unrealistic.

Then suddenly his Master died he was 18 so he traveled to Kal'Nerroth to find his dad but suddenly when he arrived he found only a note.

And then our story begins :

Physical Description: He is tall and slim has brown hair and beard has blue eyes.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Upon review, your application has been Denied. Do not fear, it is not permanent. You can go ahead and reapply, but before doing so I would suggest making an account on our forums. Normally instead of an auto denial, players are put onto pending to allow them time to fix their application. However, guests are auto denied if there are mistakes because they are unable to make edits to their application.   • I am unsure what Mountain your character lived in, however it appears to be some sort of profanity. That sort of thing wouldn't be allowed on LotC, so rename that please.
  • Your character cannot start knowing magic or having any magical abilities/items. Edit that out of the application and replace it with something new!
  • Your Interesting Facts section cannot include references to magic.
