Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Thank you, m'am," Elias said as he sat down — a relief for his tired legs, "if you're expecting a fairy tale of a story then I'll have to disappoint you. I've had my quote of troubles in the past, but now all I want is a place for me to stay. You see, I always had this dream to have a place where people could gather and talk about their journeys, maybe if this dream come true, I might be able to tell you the rest of my story as well."
