Hello! I’m working on an application for the Server, and I’ve encountered a snag. See, a while back, my Minecraft account was stolen (oh boy oh boy was THAT fun) and I only recently regained control of it. However, in the meantime, the hacker changed my profile name to something stupid. I intend to change it back, but I have two wait 23 more days to do that. I’ve reached out to Mojang support to see if I can reset the cooldown on it, but they’re... slow.
Anyhow, in the event that they don’t get back to me before the timer expires anyway, that means I’m stuck with said username for over three weeks. My question is, if I apply to join the server with the current profile name, how much trouble will it be if I change it to something else three weeks from now?
If it’s more trouble than it’s worth, that’s fine. I can wait 3 weeks to apply. But if it’s not a huge deal, then I’d rather put down the profile name I have now and change it later.
If someone could help me with this conundrum, it’d be much appreciated. Thank you for your time!
