Gronmil Darkgrip, born in a settlement near The Kingdom of Kaz'Ulrah. His parents were your regular working dwarves, his father owned a blacksmith’s shop and his mother took care of the children. He has 6 siblings, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Gron being the youngest of them all. Gron grew up in a busy house hold, his parent’s were not homeless but on the verge of poverty, mainly due to the settlement not striving and barely living. The resources around the settlement were scarce and is constantly attacked by bandits. Gron as he was growing up, he always wanted to see the bright side of things. He helped his father in the black smith and listened to stories of his older brother Graniac. His brother was an adventurer and was constantly traveling, looking for jobs and took a hobby of exploration. Gron was fascinated by his older brother’s stories and dreamed to one day leave this settlement and explore the world around him.
Gron was also fascinated in the gods his mother would always speak about. The pantheon of gods known as the Brathmordakin and their stories. Gron follows Yemekar’s teaching as did his father and his forefathers. Gron had no sort of education as a child. It was all work, work and more work. His father would send him on errands if he wasn’t working in the shop. He would either go hunting with his brothers or fishing for food. As a simple working dwarf, Gron knew no better life than this until his brother one day came back to the settlement with a book written by his brother himself. It was a diary of his brother’s adventures with illustrations of huge cities and statues. That is when Gron knew that there is definitely more to this life than to work until old age.
