    TenaBee

Short Summary: Telyanabe is a hotheaded character with a specific appetite for drama. She loves dabbling a bit on the chaotic side rather than stay simply neutral or act “good” all the time. She goes by the name Telyana to her close friends (she doesn’t have much given her troublesome nature) and the nickname “Tely”, which is reserved strictly for the people she cares about most in the world. Telyanabe’s personality stemmed from her childhood, where she watched her friends grow up and make friends with those outside of their race, her, being a high elf, was raised by her parents to only ever communicate with those in her race, dress according to her race, and so on. She was raised on the vow of purity, and eventually got enough of it. She first started to dabble with drama in her early 40s, she would do things such as tear out the fabric on her mother’s friend’s dresses to reveal their shoulders and ankles, then watch as her mother would overreact and kick them out of her house. Telyanabe’s little bit of mischief blossomed to a more larger and more sinister one around the age of 46, where she would set up high elves on blind dates with others outside of their species, what they didn’t know was that she would also invite other high elves there-- once the elf was caught commuting outside their species, she would act innocent and shocked “Does purity mean nothing to you? What of our noble community?” she’d remark often. Now, at the age of 67, Telyanabe embarks on her greatest game yet, what is it? She will be the perfect high elf, however, there’s a bit of a twist... In Depth: Telyanabe was born of two very strict Hiylun high elves. Being the only child of her family, her mother and father spent a lot of time raising her to be the perfect high elf. They surrounded her with others of the same traditions and values. All her friends were to be given “tests”, they were quizzed on their knowledge of magic and the arts, as they were when they were young, as well as in-depth personal questions of their family heritage, a one-on-one personal meeting with their parents, and a physical scan to see if they dress appropriately enough. Needless to say, Telyanabe didn’t have many friends. As she grew older, she began to take note of the absolute boredom that surrounded her. At first, her parents words rung clear through her head every time she would do something even remotely mischievous, “Does purity mean nothing to you?” they’d say, “What of our noble community?” the shame that was brought on to her at first was too much for her to bear, she’d often fix the little things she’d do wrong a second after doing them. One day, when she was just ten years old, she loosened the top on the salt. Overridden by guilt from the small, silly act, she went back just a minute later to tighten it back on. Later on in her life, Telyanabe met a rambunctious wood elf named Rayni while exploring the perimeter of the land below the high elves’ territory. Rayni was a lost elf who didn’t know where their family was, and wondered dangerously close to high elf territory. Telyanabe resisted Rayni at first, however, as she turned to walk around from the wondering wood elf, Telyanabe gave in and helped Rayni find her family. They eventually grew close together, so much so that Telyanabe would sneak out of her parents’ home to find Rayni and talk with her. Rayni called her by a special nickname, “Tely”, a name that only one other elf ever used before- a high elf who was her nanny when she was younger. That elf, Rona, meant so much to her, helping her develop her sense of morals and individuality. So when Rayni called her by “Tely”, she couldn’t help but feel that she was finally home again. Back to the days of morning pancakes, laughter, and slight independence. Yet, that all came crashing to an end when Rayni’s jealous ex-best friend caught the two together. He, upset at the amount of time the two would spend together constantly, left an anonymous note to a Hiylun elf. This elf told Telyanabe’s parents, who punished her by publicly humiliating her and warning her that if she ever saw Rayni again she would be exiled. After hearing the news, Rayni convinced her family to move far away from where they lived, because she knew that Telyanabe would go looking for her, risking losing the only home she had. Teleyanabe never saw Rayni ever again. Ten years later, at the age of 40, Teleyanbe had enough of the drab rituals and routines imposed upon her by her family. She started to dabble in mischief, deciding to quit the boring life that she was forced to live. Teleyanabe considered boredom to be one of the worst feelings ever, that and loneliness. She suffered from both. Teleyanabe first started by cutting out fabrics on her mother’s friends’ clothing, exposing enough skin so that her mother would overreact and kick them out. As she grew older, Teleyanbe’s mischief became more larger and elaborate, she would do things such as set up high elves on blind dates with those outside their species and invite the very pretentious, purity-obsessed high elves to catch the two in the act. When they were caught, Telyanabe would say “Does purity mean nothing to you? What of our noble community?” and other quips that she’s quoted from her parents. Teleyanabe’s two-faced acting got her to be considered a dignified, traditional member of the high elves. As such, her words were given more thought than some other elf who wasn’t as good as playing pretend (pretending to be a good high elf) as her. At the age of 67, Teleyanabe decided to step up her game. She wants to be the perfect example of a high elf, however, there’s a bit of a condition to Teleyanbe’s plot.. One that is meant to shock, shake, and, all in all, have fun with the high elf community...
