    Charles would kneel down before Jacques’ grave while planting the tip of his sword in the ground. “I wasn’t one for prayer but just this once for you brother.” He’d dip his head in prayer. Charles stands to place a small silver coin on the headstone and return his sword to the sheath on his hip. “This must end soon.”

    “Evenin’ Sir, I ah, Well that’s a very direct question,” Charles stammers back trying to take everything in all at once. Never has he seen so many goods or people gathered behind towering stone walls. The sight’s and smells alone are overwhelming as it is. “I’m lookin’ for a place of work ya see, som’ were out in the fields?” Charles blinks out trying hard to focus on the man before him with every new sight and sound whirling through his mind. “I ain’t never be’n in a city this big an’ I ain’t all too sure of where to start.” As the man talks, Charles listens and follows to where ever he needs to go and who he needs to see for every adventure requires a little hard work at the start.
