Tar-Caraneth Aryantë who was, at the time the letter arrived, on a grand and valorous quest (and more troublingly, somewhat stranded on a far-away island) did not immediately receive her invitation, but she would most certainly appreciate it upon her return. Probably. At that particular moment, she was busy drawing a face on a small rock and giving it a name.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:
Epiphytes are a demi-fae being, created when a descendant is lured in by a fae plant which has slipped into the mortal world, and transformed in body, mind and soul. Their bodies undergo a metamorphosis to be remade of plant material, matching that of the plant to which they are bound, and their souls become inseparably bound to their plant. After transformation, the wellbeing of their fae plant becomes an ever-present, primary concern. These beings come in three particular flavors: Dryophytes (like this character) who are bound to trees, bryophytes who are bound to herbaceous plants, and saprophytes who are bound to fungi.
Once transformed, epiphytes gain a series of drawbacks due to their new plant-based fae-derived form. These include particularly notable weaknesses to fire of all sorts, corrupting magics, azhl and thanhium, as well as to aurum. Further, due to the altered nature of their soul they cannot benefit from boons granted by Holy Magics like paladinism, and are incapable of learning most magics. Their strengths, meanwhile, reflect the fae influence in their being and their plant-like nature, allowing them to enter places with great fae presence in the same manner as druids, as well as a greater affinity for the environment to which their fae plant is most suited and a greater ability to heal injuries and wounds compared to their descendant selves.
In regards to particular abilities, epiphytes are somewhat narrow in scope, allowing them to sow seeds to produce mundane versions of their fae plant, grow other plants upon their person, and manipulate their plant-y body in small, flavorful ways like rustling their leaves and the like. Beyond that, they bear a deep connection to their fae plant, allowing them to communicate with it empathically, and allowing them to be aware of where the plant is and if harm has befallen it in their absence (this harm is also reflected in lesser form upon their own bodies).
Finally, there is the matter of rebirth. Over the course of their lives, epiphytes undergo a repeating life cycle of sorts, repeating every ten to fifty irp years. Reflecting the four seasons of the natural world, growing vibrant during their "Summer", aging during their "Autumn", withering during their "Winter", and then being reborn again during their "Spring". Notably, this cycle of rebirth will not extend an epiphyte's life past the limits of their original descendant race.
If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?
Gwenniel, like her fae plant, takes an appearance similar to a red birch tree, with papery gray-and-white splotched "bark" for skin, and hair made of crimson leave and fine tendrils of similarly-hued vines. Her eyes, like the sap that makes up her "blood", are a deep crimson of similar color to her foliage.

The Melody in the Wood
High in the sky sat the fair spring morning's sun as the young herbalist passed through the wood. The light peered through the branches above and naught reached one's ears save for the chittering birds and rustling of the wind through the leaves. Aran-în-Eryn, it seemed, was at peace in this portion at the least. Indeed much of the great forest had become tainted by sorcery and blood, but not so there. In that place the forest's quiet was yet preserved, and so it was there that the herbalist – a girl known as Gwenniel – had found her path to lead. And much to her delight was her journey not only undisturbed but bountiful besides. By midday already she felt nigh overburdened with her pack full of roots and greens, from wild garlic and burdock to even a few medicinals. As good a haul as any she had seen, she thought, but a tiring morning's work, and so she wandered without aim seeking only a place where she might sit for a time and rest.
Through brush and bramble she came, and down the forested hills until at last she stood upon a shallow rise of a ridge. Far ahead and below, she saw through the boughs a humble few cottages, and the rising ivory spires of the city on the horizon afar. Then it was that Gwenniel, as she paused to take in her surroundings, heard a gentle bubbling of water; she had, by fortune, stumbled upon a grove of sorts, nestled above a whispering spring. Perhaps twenty-odd yards off, the young woman approached in caution, for it seemed a beautiful place, but disconcertingly so. Blossoms floated carelessly on the wind, and the air smelled sweet, and the forest seemed to flourish, all centered around a single tree: white of bark, red of leaf, surrounded by dancing motes of light, and more fair than any tree that stood in its periphery. A Heart Tree as the one in the city, she thought at first, or perhaps something similar. She was uncertain for it was quite different despite its similarity, though she dared not ponder it overmuch. After all, she knew well the superstitions of her folk; to tarry overlong in such a place may attract the mischief of the pixies and their kin that live hidden in the greenery, and so tarry she would not. Superstition or not, it was a chance best left untaken, thought she, and she then made to leave. Yet, against her judgment, she paused as she gazed at the pond.
By all rights she should already have turned from the grove, but her limbs wanted for rest and the water appeared clean enough, at least, to rinse her hands and face. Thus, she chose to linger. Nevertheless, she was superstitious still, and so she called out to the empty wood – somewhat foolishly, she thought after – to ask permission to rest at the pond. And though her call echoed from tree to tree, there emerged no malevolent pixies or any other such being to harass her. Deciding it safe enough, Gwenniel knelt by the water and collected a handful in a cupped palm to splash on her face. Suddenly, as the cool touch of water left her skin, the young woman’s eyes became heavy, and it was then that a chorus of murmurous, dulcet tones sounded through the grove. As misfortune would have it, there was indeed one denizen of the grove that had heard the herbalist’s call: the tree itself.
A moment later, consciousness slipped from young Gwenniel, and the ivory roots of the tree began to envelope her body…

Tar-Caraneth Aryantë, who was slightly too busy dealing with otherworldly threats to write a full letter, had a simple note delivered to the newly elected Pontiff:
"I wish you a heartfelt congratulations on your recent promotion. We shall have to speak again soon, hopefully of more cheerful matters than our last conversation. May GOD Almighty bless your endeavors.

What magic(s) will you be teaching?
Templar
Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:
Templarism is a holy magic connected to the Aengul of Courage, Malchediael. It is an entirely combat-focused magic, with an emphasis on melee combat specifically. As such Templars' spells are focused on the empowering of one's singular, martial capabilities and providing an immunity to fear and terror, rather than providing range or healing. These boons include: Fervent Flare, a spell which blinds targets for a time; Furious Flame, which is a passive ability granting their first-drawn weapon the effects of aurum (though it can be applied to other weapons with an active casted spell); Bulwark, which allows the Templar to nullify the physical force of an incoming attack; Dauntless Charge, which allows the Templar to close the distance between themselves and a fleeing opponent; and Vigorous Blow, which allows the Templar to perform a powerful area-of-effect attack. Supplementary to this, they can fashion trophies from the heads of slain enemies, which may be used to temporarily stun enemies of the same type, and Banners, which grant benefits to the Templar and their allies. In the event that a Templar is in a losing battle, they may invoke Second Chance, which restores their body and increases their strength, at the expense of a guaranteed PK when their battle is ended. Apart from their combative abilities, Templar have a small selection of flavorful and supportive abilities, such as Blazing Aura which simply casts light in an area, Brazen Bonfires which allow Templars to rest and heal their own wounds, and Enthralling Recount which allows them to manipulate flames for storytelling purposes.
Of the aforementioned banners, there are three, each with their own effects which warrant their own mention. Firstly is the Indomitable Banner, which grants those near to the Templar the same benefits as the Templar's Emboldened passive. Secondly, the Valiant Banner, which allows the Templar an extra cast of each of their abilities in a given conflict. And thirdly, the Radiant Banner, which casts light in an area around its wielder, and may be invoked to clear obscurements conjured by dark magic (i.e deathbreath and the like).
The greatest weakness of the Templar is the Touch of Jophiael - a madness that overtakes them in the event they are too heavily wounded. Should the Templar find themselves in critical condition, or subjected to too great a toll in battle, they will be overtaken by a battle-fever, and perceive all around them as a threat, with the sole exception of other Templar. In this state, they cannot be reasoned with and can only be cured of their madness by calming magics, healing at a brazen bonfire, or being incapacitated. As this it intended to be their core weakness, it cannot be mitigated by any other means.
As a guiding code of ethics, Templar are bound to the tenets of Malchediael's Dogma, a very straightforward set of five core values; to maintain virtuous oaths; to accept all challenges; to settle conflicts rather than letting them fester; to vanquish EVILDOERS™; and to use one's power for glory rather than money. This dogma is enforced through the Victor's Justice, a ritual of combat (though it can take the form of any medium if all parties agree) in which the accuser and the accused engage in a duel. At the duel's conclusion, the Victor may then sever the defeated Templar's connection to Malchediael fully, or for a temporary period of 2 OOC weeks.
Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?
No, it is very straightforward.
Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?
Vigorous Blow
Tar-Caraneth Aryantë looked upon her enemies and raised her sword overhead as she called upon the might and courage of her spirit. Her eyes flaring with holy, white flame, wisps of light began to swirl about her person and swiftly coalesce about her sword-arm and already-enflamed blade as the tower of a woman strode slowly towards the oncoming EVILDOERS™. [1/3]
[!] The blessed fire which blazed around the woman's empowered weapon began to brighten then, the flames swirling with ever-growing tenacity, and the light rising to a gleaming, silvery crescendo. With fury and courage still blazing as stark embers in her eyes, she placed a second hand upon the handle of her sword and prepared to strike! [2/3]
[!] As the EVILDOERS™ made contact with the rank of warriors in front of her, the woman took a final step forward, filling a space between two men in the shield line. With every ounce of her might, then, the Adunian brought her radiant weapon down in a vicious arc, and a burst of energy issued forth from her, the three EVILDOERS™ immediately before her finding themselves struck as if with the force of a great blow of a hammer.
Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?
Fervent Flare
Tar-Caraneth Aryantë stood before [Student] and held her weapon outwards, leveled towards the squire. "Now, the time will come you have need to stun your opponents - this particular maneuver is of great value to aid your comrades against many enemies." She fell into stance, then, and braced her body to become still as a statue. "First, steel yourself - rigid posture, feet planted. Then, draw upon your courage and your fury - let it burn inside you."
[Student] nodded along with the explanation, and followed her mentor's lead. Stiffening her posture and drawing on her inner courage, she stood still as stone and firmly locked herself to her spot, weapon at the ready.
Tar-Caraneth Aryantë then began to focus inward to summon forth the radiance of her spirit. Her eyes flared white with aural flames, and swirling wisps of light began to gather about her. In but a moment the wisps flared and bloomed with an ever-greater gleam as the Templar's skin began to shimmer behind the torrent of swirling ivory fire. "Now, hold it until you are ready to pop, like bursting a bubble." She advised. "Oh, and be mindful of your allies, lest you blind them as well."
[Student] likewise summoned forth a COURAGEOUS AURA™, beginning to glimmer and shine as radiant fire enveloped her person.
Tar-Caraneth Aryantë at last released her gathered aura, the space around her becoming bathed in blinding, eye-clouding light which, had anyone been around her, would have surely struck the vision from the eyes of any nearby onlookers, at least for the moment.
[Student] again followed the lead of her teacher, and let loose a blinding surge of light as the aura gathered about her person was expelled outwards.
Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?
Begin with simple correction and tips/guidance on a better and correct way and help them understand where they went wrong. Failing that (or if the behavior is continuous/malicious), escalate to a higher relevant authority (i.e ST/Moderation). In the worst-case scenario, they may need to be dropped from one's TA or otherwise punished for their misuse/abuse of the magic.

THE ALKAYABAN COMPANY
Est. 165 SA
— The Laborer’s Guild of Númenost —
Granted charter by the Royal Bank of Númendil, the Alkayaban Company serves to further the Kingdom’s prosperity, both through the production of resources and materiel, and through providing secure and insured employment to the commonfolk. This manual, meant to serve as a primer for both current and prospective members alike, contains all relevant information to our company’s workings, ranging from hierarchy to the benefits of guildship.
I. Laborers and Ranks
The laborers of our guild are divided into three broad categories; prospectors, farmers and craftsmen. Of these, the prospectors are those tasked with the extraction and refinement of ores, the farmers are those tasked with the tending of fields and livestock, and craftsmen are those who have taken up an artisanal trade. The first and second share ranks, while craftsmen are bound to their own hierarchy.
– Workers –
Novice - Rank gained upon hiring.
Laborer - Requires two Saint’s Weeks membership in good standing.
Foreman - Appointed at the discretion of the Company Master.
– Craftsmen –
Apprentice - Rank gained upon acceptance by a Master.
Master - Gained upon completion of apprenticeship.
Under this structure, workers (farmers and prospectors) may be hired into the guild by the company foremen or the Company Master, while apprentices are taken on at the discretion of certified Masters and with the Company Master’s assent.
II. Wages
Those under the Company’s employ are entitled to an annual wage paid in the form of Company Scrips, which may be exchanged for Mina. To receive one’s allotted due, a Laborer must fulfill all assigned quotas, and remain in good standing with the guild. Additional scrips may be gained through contribution to the completion of large contracts.
In the case of craftsmen, payment is received for contributing crafted goods to be sold in the Company store, rather than being bound to a quota. Expected contributions to mercantile stock will be negotiated with a given craftsman upon promotion to the rank of Master.
On Company Standing
One’s standing with the company is determined by the fulfillment of quotas and contribution to company projects. Those who fail to complete their quotas in a given Saint’s Week will receive no payment for that period, and shall be demoted to low standing. Continued failure to meet company expectations will result in demotion to poor standing, and eventually expulsion.
III. Contracts
The company’s primary mode of income is Crown Contracts, through which they receive payment from the Royal Bank of Númendil in exchange for a given quantity of a needed material. Contribution to these contracts is counted separately from annual quotas.
Signed,
Mazra et-Sûhalar, Master of the Alkayaban Company

THE PEACE OF MINAS ARANATH
Issued the 8th of the Sun’s Smile, in the Year 165 of the Second Age
“You betray man with your wrath, and once again Horen’s sons are divided.”
— Gospel 4:53 —
In the beginning of this war, which has consumed the Midlands and bathed all of Aevos under a tide of blood, the Númenedain were bound by oath and compact to make war upon our neighbors to the north. Our goals in this war were firstly to remove from power those who threatened our people and secondly to eliminate the menace of shadow which darkened that land. In that, we have been successful. Though the wider alliance now pursues the scouring and emptying of the midlands, the Adunians have no further stake in this conflict.
Just as shadow cannot bring light, true and lasting peace cannot be born of slaughter. Heed well this warning; there is no true cleansing of a people from the earth. There shall always be those who remain, and they shall scatter to the winds embittered. You will succeed only in creating new generations of enemies.
Thus it is the will of Her Royal Majesty, Tar-Caraneth Aryantë, Queen of the Númenedain, that the Adunians shall embrace peace. The middlemen shall be left to their affairs.
There is no honor in the slaughter of an already defeated enemy.
Númendil’s war is won.
Hereafter enumerated are those terms, agreed upon by the Kingdom of Númendil and the Duchy of Adria, which shall bring peace between our realms.
ARTICLE I: Terms of Peace
FIRSTLY, the signatories shall cease all hostilities towards the other, effective immediately upon the promulgation of this compact. This peace shall exist in perpetuity, pending a formal pact of non-aggression to be signed at a later date.
SECONDLY, adhering to Adunian cultural traditions of peace, the Duchy of Adria shall dedicate a bench and a small memorial garden to the late Cardinal Paco Antonius “Tonito” Temesch de las Palmas.
THIRDLY, those of the Midlands who freely choose to lay down arms shall be permitted to make homes within Númenost the Fair, until such time as they might find or establish other accommodations for themselves. This does not extend to the House Van Aert, which shall remain banished from all territories of the White Throne.
ARTICLE II: War Guilt and Reparations
FIRSTLY, the Duchy of Adria acknowledges and condemns the role of the League of Veletz generally, and in particular the Captain-General Gaspard van Aert and his House, in the origins of the present conflict.
SECONDLY, as part of this acknowledgement, and in recompense for both threats made against the Númenedain before the war’s onset and for the incurred costs of war, the Duchy of Adria shall furnish the Royal Treasury of Númendil with a sum of two-thousand Minas and ten pallets of gold.
ARTICLE III: Commitment to Holiness
FIRSTLY, the Duchy of Adria shall, in cooperation with the Kingdom of Númendil and the Church of Canon, commit to the expulsion and excising of all draconic and devilish influence within the Midlands.
SECONDLY, the Duchy of Adria shall remain committed to reconciliation with the Church and wider Canondom.
Signed,
HER ROYAL MAJESTY, Tar-Caraneth Aryantë of the House Arthalionath, by the Grace of GOD, Queen of the Númenedain, Princess of Númenost and Minas Amath, Protector of the Adunians, Master of the Sharadûn, Templar of the Archangel Michael, Knight of the Realm
His Grace, Markus Marie Sarkozic
Duke of Adria, Count of Aldersberg
