AN ACOLYTE’S THESIS ON PRAYER

6th of The First Seed, 1795

INTRODUCTION

Prayer, the act of giving & receiving to the lord almighty. You step upon your feet, kneeling upon your leg bone armoured by both your spirit & your weathered cloth, damaged from days of travel..with the only thing on your mind being GOD. You clasp your hands, closing your eyes..before then your eyes are on the gaze of the altar, a fine mosaic of mother Julia & exalted Horen. You then recite a chant, a chant you've learned in youth-the words coming out of your mouth almost flow within the air as you speak.. Each letter is a beacon of faith, directed towards the exalted, & with that the exalted returns to you. The next day an event happens that benefits you..you might have the conclusion that this well-happening is the product of your prayer. A magnificent occasion that only, you can experience-this is Prayer. Prayer can be anything, from an asking of GOD to a conversation with GOD, it should be stated that any devout canonist should hold prayer at least once a week, in that way their mind is guided by the light of Horen, & does not stray away to the darkness of ignorance & atheism.

ON THE PRAYER OF GOOD BLESSING

As mentioned before, some types of prayer can be an asking of GOD to benefit for your mortal life, with that being said, there is infact a certain prayer in which holds this practice, that being the Prayer for good blessings. In Flexio; “Propalatam Deus, da nobis multa sunt beneficia ut non palpet proximorum expendas. Quia tu id etiam a misericordissimo et maxima benevolentia atque amantissima. In nomine Patris, amen.”. In common; “Holiest GOD, please bring us the many blessings that You are oft to bestow. For You are the most merciful, the most benevolent, and most loving. In nomine Patris, amen.”. The prayer of good blessing is a request directed to God, in return they grant you a favourable blessing, quite simple, though truly miraculous within the mortal eye.

ON THE PRAYER FOR THE POOR

The poor have always been looked down upon in common human society, the question is whether or not you take pity for them, or disregard them. Upon the sight of the Canonist scriptures, it is to be seen that the church of Canon asks of you to take pity on the poor, through charity or what not-the most common practice of aiding those in need is reciting the Prayer for the poor. Flexio; “Sanctus Pater vester voluntatis est finalis voluntatis, et arbitrium nostrae sunt libidini obnoxius. Oro te sumus in dolore succurrendum pauperes, et orate ut eos mox ut indentured et liberavit in tua erat gubernata. In nomine Patris, amen.”. In common; “Holy Father, Your Will is the final will, and Your Whims are our whims. We pray that You alleviate the suffering of the poor, and we pray that those indentured may soon be liberated with Your guidance. In nomine Patris, amen.”. Doing so would benefit those who are needy through the light of Horen.

ON PRAYER

The aforementioned sections are examples of prayers held by the general Canonist public..if you haven't already noticed, they are prayers asking of GOD to do an action to benefit yourself & or someone(s) else’s life. While I have no problem with this-as I shall not ever so dare disregard the Church, it is a bit greedy to use GOD as a tool to fulfill your own wishes, I could be wrong though it is quite strange. On the topic of prayer, however-ask yourself, what is true prayer..you could bring up the prayers I've just mentioned, or-if you're a devout fellow, you know of the almost magnificent prayer sessions in which you speak with GOD through conversation, I myself believe this is the highest form of prayer, for is it not the goal of the good Canonist to establish connection with God? Not only this, though he grants you reward through blessing. Remove yourself & know that in whatever circumstance, you are a servant of God, once you recognize that, you will experience eternal joy with God, even beyond death.. Prayer is the guiding light to greatest joy with the holiest, all Canonists should follow this.

Heinrich von Blowitz, an Orenian Statesmen for around ten years, fighting his way around Court Politics for the sake of his Nation, Steward of Kaedrin & the Everardine thinker, this man is the RIGHT person to represent the Everardines if he is to win the seat in the HOC. Heinrich will deal with problems, combatting the secularism of the Atheist Josephites from degrading our Empire into a mushed anti-canonist elven pulp. ON POLICIES

 I. PUBLIC SERVICES

It seems that between Josephite megaregulation and bureaucracy, something crucial has gone amiss: Results. The common Orenian yearns to be rewarded for their work, for their life to be made easier and their daily tribulations lightened. Chief in the Everardine platform is to allocate said resources from those who bask in its overflow, to those who need it: From the excess funding to useless departments and fat retirement pensions, to use in practice; to investure in the common Orenian.

 II. REINSTITUTING THE RAILWAY NETWORK

First constructed as a private business endeavour by a foreign entrepreneur, the Everardine party seeks to again provide to Imperial citizens a faster, safer and hands-free means of transport. If not to connect only Helena, Kaedrin and the Eastern territories, then by extending the hand of cooperation to our Empire’s independent neighbour, the Kingdom of Haense, in connecting our railway network in an international scale. It’s our aim to propose a government contract to any company fit for the construction of said network in our pledge to support private businesses and relieve Orenian workers from the yoke of an ineffective state-run company.

 III. CANONIST & HIGHER EDUCATION

As much as our Josephite contemporaries believe themselves enlightened intellectuals, we find difficulty in accepting a suitable education for only the elite echelons. With the incorporation of Canonist institutions of education more actively in Orenian society, could finally Orenian students bear degrees and diplomas of Human excellency in pride. Affordable, active and rooted in Canonist and Human teaching, it is our aspiration to attribute to Imperial citizens the world-class academia they deserve.

 IV. GENERAL COMMODITIES STORES

Further supporting private businesses aswell as supply affordable, quality material goods to the general Orenian population, the Everardine party intends on introducing an initiative of loaning and leasing businesses to entrepreneurs who sell both hard and soft commodities; food, produce, materials aswell as recreational products in regulated, reasonable prices. The Orenian economy has always been lacking, and its our intentional to at last answer for needs.

 V. HOUSING

Helena, jewel of the Empire, has since its construction been bustling with activity and life. Although hard to admit, in every seed of good there is always a piece of bad. It pains us, Everardines, to encounter the misfortuned who seek housing and sleep at the doorstep of a lavish house facade, its empty interior but sitting and collecting tax dust. The mismanagement of housing in the city of Helena can only be attributed to our clerks’ political aspirations, their neglect of the common man in their efforts to climb the social ladder. It’s our intention to root out the weeds in our slothful municipal administration and in place of vacant residences erect apt living quarters for the deprived, hardworking people of Helena.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Ologs, the largest, strongest, & bulkiest  subrace of Orc. Ologs are mainly fierce warriors, using their momentous strength within the battlefield to fulfill their desire to kill & consume. Weighing around 600-1000 lbs, & standing at 8’0” to 10’0” feet, supported by humungous tusks, & grimy green/red skin-their figure is ultimately a true horror to the common descendant, which is correct-most of the time they might pick a fight with you or something of the likes, however it is known that they are unmatched due to their stature & strength, massive proportions such as dense bone & fatty skin, protecting them from large blows & allowing them hard hits towards whoever dares fight them. Though they are strong, this does not mean they are smart-in fact their lack of intellect is extremely low compared to their other Orc brethren. As olog’s are, to put it simply, lack of brained-they are as well lacking of that of complex feeling such as love-constantly acting upon the most simplest emotions, such as Anger, lust, survival, & anger if I didn't mention it before. Most Ologs live to the age of less than 100 years, due to their violent lifestyle they die young in the battlefield, if they do live to see the light of day without dying in a battle, then they live to around the same age of Uruks, that being 500 years old. The most common thought they hold is hunger, this does in fact translate into their daily lifestyle, wandering around in search of food, eating food, or using their immense strength for food. Along with what was said before, Ologs rarely create any forms of art, such as music or literature, rather referring to their fist in terms of self expression, however they do hold-while very much a simple view-an interest towards Religion & Shamanism, holding true to their lackluster culture of war.

Jug'grug’Ungri stands at 9 ft. weighing to the 1000s lbs due to his stature. He’s a very meaty & obese Olog, very much overfed though still he’s stong within a battlefield scenario. His eyes are blood red & his skin is dark green along with battle markings covering his upper body & face.
