Lo and behold, for the time for a new census has arrived. In accordance with the Oren Revised Code, it is the duty of the Ministry of Civil Affairs to administer a national census program. 

 

The old census, whose term was from 1777 to 1787, will be shuttered and its rolls transferred to the Office of the Archives for preservation. New rolls will be constituted, to last from 1787 to 1797. 

 

 

SECTION I: THE OPENING OF THE CENSUS

• The Imperial Census shall be administered for the duration of ten years across the entire Empire. 
• The census will close from time to time when general elections are open for ballot submission. 
• Peers are required to distribute the census to residents of their peerage and to cooperate with the Elections Office to such ends.

 

SECTION II: FILLING OUT THE CENSUS

 

• Fraud is a crime which will be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
• All residents, immigrants, and other subjects of the Empire are obligated by law to complete the census truthfully.
