  1. How can we improve Monk Guidance for New Players? For sure it is hard but I think a tutorial server would make it better. Maybe if its possible a tutorial made with npcs, if its not then as soon as the player read the accepted app notification contact a monk as a requirement to join the server, not letting them wander if they are not wandering souls. This of course demands more CT members so they may cover the new player demands but if you want to improve the guidance, you need hands on it. Also I think the guidance may be done with some role play, this will take players to embrace the use of rp channel before the ooc. A good narrated introduction to the server may be the immersive experience that a new player needs, and if you make it well you may cover the mechanics of the server AND the correct use of role play at the same time, however this could obviously take some time but I’m sure that if its well made neither the monk nor the player will feel that they are wasting time Have you ever had a negative experience with the monks? I’m pretty new on the server so as far as I can tell, no. As a New Player, were you helped by a monk? Yes, Epistile did it well Did the monk guidance give you a better understanding of how the server works? Yes and no , but I think my case is particular Why or why not? Well I had read almost the entire wiki before being accepted on server so I made his job much easier. I knew how to use the chat and most of the commands, just needed to experience them in-game, but he has been answering a lot of personal questions that I had via Discord so he is doing his job Do you think that monk guidance is beneficial to players who are new to the server? Its a need to do thing, this server is complex but beautiful, all it needs is a friendly guide and patience. For sure its not a server for everyone but, if you have a good host, it may be the ideal place to enjoy the rp on minecraft As a new player, were you left feeling more confident after being helped by a monk? Of course, it feels so great having someone you can trust to help you with your questions, but it is the new player’s responsibility to not abuse this, Monks are persons with a personal life too and they have things to do, between them, playing quietly on the server Do you feel that the monks are necessary for assisting new players on the server? Yes, just as I said, totally necessary

A group of pirates found him on a boat adrift, on the Grand Harvest of 1694. He was only 13, barely spoke elvish but he was lucky to be found by a crew with a high elf as medic, Casardur, who could translate his few words and safe him from starving, he was abandoned on that boat by his parents in a moment of despair to run away and safe his life after an unexpected attack on the coasts of Morsgrad... never saw them again. He managed to survive in the cold seas of the north fishing with his own hands but hasn’t seen land on months, maybe years. The most obvious thing would have been to sell him as a precious slave but the captain saw in his golden eyes the tenacity of a great warrior so decided to rise him as a crew member. The high elf baptized him as Fairëmor but his crewmates always call him by the name of Espectro because of his disturbing personality and ghostly appearance so he assumed both names. When everyone migrated away of Atlas, Casardur told Fairëmor that he have heard about a group of white elves like him migrating to a city called Fenn, they were strong warriors and proud people and he should try to find them and maybe find a truly home but Espectro feel the ship as his home and the crew as his family, so didn’t pay attention to the suggestion and just sail through the Ice Wall to the new realm full of wanders and loots, the new lands of Arcas. Over time he became a particular warrior, adept at combat but exceptional when it came to silently murdering, once waited under a bed for 3 days until finding the best time to poison a nobleman’s drink and get out of the castle without trace of crime. This skills made him a valuable and respected member of the crew and even esteemed by the captain. The beat of the waves on the hull forged his personality and ideals, and for a moment it seemed that the tranquility of the sea managed to thaw his cold heart but misfortune seems to haunt his happiness, on a gloomy day a group of ruthless pirates defeat him and his crew, murdered his captain and crewmates, plundered his ship, and left him to die. For years he wandered, seeking revenge, obsessed with the only clue of his enemies, a scorpion on the banner, and a hole in the heart that may be filled with the support of his race on The Princedom, a place only heard in histories and legends that seemed to talk about people like him.
