Born in 1775, odessa was a very beautiful girl with light hair and eyes. her skin shined in the moonlight and eyes sparkled in the sun. During her birth there was a declared war between the Holy Orenian Empire and the Free state of Sutica. When Odessa was only 5 she remembered learning about many wars, including the one happening as they spoke. The war finally came to an end that year, a peace treaty was signed. Her mother taught her about many things, keeping her up to date on the world as they know it. Odessa since childhood loved her mother very much. She looked up to her, she was almost like a shining angel in her eyes. Her mother and her took a trip to the central mountains around the age of 7, odessa remembered it as a magician time. She spent the whole day laughing and playing as her mother showed her around. Her mother was acting weirdly that day, being away from her father, but odessa was almost too young to notice. As a young girl Odessa noticed her mother and father loved each other very much, her father being Full High Elf and her mother being full Wood Elf. They resided in the capital city of the Kingdom of Haense, New Reza. Life never seemed hard when her mother was around, that was until her mother suddenly disappeared. Life crumbled around her, she was only 9 when her life didn’t seem to matter to anyone. After her mother’s sudden disappearance Odessa was forced to stay with her father day and night. Odessa being the sweet and loving girl she’s always been always wanted to impress her dad, but he would only look at her with blank eyes. It only took a couple months before her father got tired of it and started lashing out at her. She never understood what she did wrong, she only wanted to show him love just like her mother did. It came to one day, Odessa drew a beautiful picture of the three of them, including her mother and handed it to her father. she kept a bright smile on her face as her dad stared at the picture blankly. his face slowly turned to anger, scaring Odessa. he abruptly ripped up the picture as hard as he could. Odessa started crying, she didn’t understand why he couldn’t accept her love. her father stood up and grabbed her by the hair, dragging her to the study. he opened the floor crawl space and threw her down there. after that night of spending the time in the cold darkness with only the light from the floor shining on her, she got used to it. soon it became her new room, she slept, ate and cried down there. She was used to it so much that she knew nothing else years later. Her father would lock her up when he was in a bad mood, didn’t want to look at her or got embarrassed of her when company came over. he didn’t want anyone to know his daughter wasn’t full High elf, it embarrassed him. Twelve years later, she got the courage to finally leave her father and look for her mom. she left without a trace, to her she knew he wouldn’t even miss her, wouldn’t even notice she was gone. Odessa barely knew about her heritage but she knew her mom was a Wood Elf, and in order to start looking for her she had to leave the town and look in the tall forests. A couple years have passed since then, although Odessa hasn’t found her mother she knows she’s around her somewhere whether she’s alive or alive in her heart and she’s content with that. She has come to love nature, she connects so passionately with it, it makes her warm inside and out. although without any education odessa makes friends very easily, she loves those around her and wouldn’t wish harm upon any of them Odessa still lives in mild fear that her father might see her one day but she knows she can stand up to him, she knows she’s stronger than he thinks she is and she knows her power now. She continues to try and find clues to her mother’s disappearance while enjoying life and having the thought that she is finally free. Some of Odessa’s friends talk a lot about learning and education, she longs for it, she wants to fit in, she wants to learn. Magic interests her the most, it’s powerful to her and all she ever wanted was to be so strong she could stand in front of her father and show him she wasn’t afraid of him no longer. Odessa wishes to start studying magic but she’s not sure where exactly to start. She sees the humans and High elves working their hardest for their education but she feels left out, she wishes she were like them, she wishes she had the courage to speak up. Odessa’s smile can be seen from miles away but when she cries, her heart floods and creates rivers inside her mind.
