The Wedding of Alden Ashby and Zielle Va’eylul!

Finally! Aeltarys’ favorite couple have decided to be wed! After being engaged for many years, Zielle and Alden, with the blessing from the Va’eylul clan leader Anerian, are settling down and spending the rest of their long lives together!

A Strange Series of Ceremonies

Due to the Va’eylul clan having their own ceremonies, and Aeltarys, the place Zielle and Alden live, having completely different wedding traditions. The decision to have two ceremonies taking place over the span of two elven days has been made

A Va’eylul Wedding

To begin, on the first of the two days, we shall be gathering together in the Aeltarys temple to witness the wedding traditions of the Va’eylul clan! This involves the couple tattooing each other with something meaningful to the two of them.
 

A Aeltarosi Wedding

A second ceremony will take place the day the first, this one taking place yet again in the Aeltarys Temple. The difference between this and the first one, is we shall be following the Aeltarosi wedding traditions!

Dear readers, you may know me as the owner of the Alden’s Bakery™ chain of stores.

However today I write this missive as the Inferno of Servitude! The man in charge of keeping our wonderful city of Aeltarys clean, and our royal family fed!

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Origin

Ologs! Undoubtedly the strongest subrace out of all the descendants! These beasts of nature are built for war, and not much else. Most ologs are quite heavily intertwined within Orcish culture, acting as frontmen in most battles and fights.

It is.. unsure, how Ologs came to be, theories depict a multitude of possibilities, ranging from excessive inbreeding, to mating with orcs, to just.. natural evolution. But who cares! They're big, strong, and make good tanks in klomps!

Appearances

Skin - Ologs can be coloured in quite the variety, mostly being rather unnatural colours like greens, reds, and sometimes even blacks or purples!

Hair - Most ologs have either black or brown coloured hair, on occasions they can be seen with more unnatural colours, or some Ologs are known to dye their hair even more wacky colours!

Eyes - Ologs have no wacky or unnatural eye colours, they do still follow the usual colours seen in descendant's eyes. Should they take part in heated battle or get too angry, then their eyes can take on a more red or bloodshot appearance.

Height - Olog are the largest of all the descendants, ranging in from 8 to 10 feet tall! That is to say, being on the higher end has its drawbacks, y'know, gravity.

Weight - These are some large folk! The average Olog weighs about 500-650 lbs, this is mainly due to their naturally higher amount of body fat and muscle than a normal descendant would have.

Strength & Weakness

Even without training, an Olog is naturally strong, able to take on a fully grown orc with little strain, and when properly trained and at it's peak, even take on two orcs at once! Your average Uruk is able to carry about 200lbs give or take, but an Olog can double that with ease, able to carry 400lbs and then some!

Being quite large, and being a subrace of the Orcs, Ologs are quite durable. This by no means makes them less affected by injuries though, a sword will still cut, an arrow will still piece, and a solid whack with a mace will still break bones. They are simply more durable, able to last longer in a fight and are less likely to bleed out due to the sheer size of their body.

Due to their size, however, comes with some obvious drawbacks. They are, for the most part.. very slow! They are still capable of running, jumping, climbing and doging, but can be quite easily outran by a human, elf or uruk (probably not a dwarf though!). 

Mentality

As stated before, Ologs are.. quite dumb. They are still fully aware and sentient being, just not the brightest folk in the bunch! Being what they are, Ologs are quite animalistic in some aspects, most notably when it comes to food! You do not want to get near a hungry Olog unless you yourself want to end up eaten!

When it comes to retaining or even learning information, Ologs aren't the best, quite the opposite in fact. This by no means means they are unable to learn things, the sausage maker example being a perfect showcase of such! An Olog can be taugh to use a sausage stuffer; put in meat, turn the crank, sausages come out! But they will find it very difficult to understand how it works, for all they know it could be a magic sausage-producing artifact!

Ologs are very dependant on other people for most things, they will follow orders and be fed by others if settled in a village or city somewhere. But this doesn't mean they cannot provide for themself, if out in the wild they will still be able to keep themself fed and sheltered! They still have independent thought!

Redlines

-Ologs are unable to learn any sorts of magics, complex skills, or feats. (Alchemy, voidal magics, etc.)

-Ologs are unable to use enchantments. (Housemagery and passive enchantments being an exception.)

-Ologs are unable to hold any sort of romantic attraction to anything, nor are they allowed to FTB.

Olg is a 9'5ft green olog with a rather vacant look in his face! He has quite bushy eyebrows resting above his eyes, looking like two dead catterpillers on his face! He's usually seen walking around with a line of drool following behind, the source of such being from the corner of his mouth! He is.. quite the hungry fella.

Dear friends, brothers, and sisters of Aevos.

I write to you with a message.

For many years the threat of darkspawn and voidal mages have been apparent, and up until now they have never been a true issue. However, recently an influx of such creatures and dark mages have begun to threaten the people of Aevos. People who we thought trusted members of our community turned out to be corrupted, twisted, and vile mongrels that simply wish for our downfall and misfortune.

A perfect example of this is the well known library owner, Allessandra Amador; a close friend, ally, and almost motherly figure of mine. Due to suspicions of protecting a vampire by the name of Florian, she was ordered to submit to a darkspawn test. She fought back and it came out she was not only a darkspawn, but a voidal mage as well. She attempted to cast on BSK officials which led to not only her death, but her unborn child’s as well. What a waste.

This is nothing but a warning of what is to come.

If we continue to allow darkspawn to live among us, and continue to house voidal mages that warp and corrupt our world. Then we are all already dead.

Rise up, find these filthy harbingers of death and chaos, and bring them to their knees. They deserve nothing but what they are, death.

Hello Demi-Fae brothers and sisters! 

My name is Josif Elliot Va’eylul and I have a dream.

For a long time, Epiphytes such as I have been discriminated against and shunned from many places. Join me as I attempt to bring about change in this world, and make acceptance of Demi-Fae such as us commonplace among the descendants.

My goal is simple, a law or two in each nation prohibiting the discrimination and harassment of our race. It is a difficult goal, I am aware, but with your backing and help I’m sure we can do it.
