Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Kharnal looks at the cushion and remove it from the chair. He gently sets it on the ground and take a seat on the hard chair. "I prefer the hard surface, it feels... more real to me." He clears his throat. "I'm new here and looking to learn how to become a blacksmith. My father, Yemekar rest his soul, recently passed. He used to create the most amazing weapons and armor I've ever seen. He intended to teach me, but I kept putting it off. Now it's too late... I want to continue his legacy though and try to find a master to learn from. Or worst case scenario, find someone that can teach me to read so I can get a book that teaches me how to become a blacksmith. I NEED to make him proud."
