Born from a union of two lovers of differing seeds, Ydrisa Rosepool had very little memories of anything about her mother after her mother passed on from illness when she was about 3 years old. Her father, her and her mother had been traveling almost constantly without any aim beyond where the food may be for that day. She never got to see either her mother or father's families, as her parents left both their seeds behind to be together despite either side protesting. All she knew was that the two families didn't like each other due to some ancestors on her mother's side selling out an ancestor on her father's' side to the High Elves which lead to a horrible execution, and then hostilities between the two families grew to an all time high when the two families scattered away from the Lin'ame as so many chose to due to the harsh conditions and treatment by the High Elves. When her mother died Ydrisa had turned to her father for comfort, yet received a very cold shoulder, being blamed by him for her mother's passing she endured ever increasing chores and harder traveling times as her father no longer would pause and even try to wait for her. She learned quickly what she needed to; language, hunting, foraging, navigating, tracking, survival and about different plants and various uses, all while her father treated her coldly. When she was 10 she had been sent on a task, gathering fallen sticks for firewood to rest for the night, however upon her return she found her father gone, and had dropped the firewood to run recklessly after her father's trail, thinking it to be another attempt like so many before to lose her and be rid of her. In her running Ydrisa had managed to catch upto her father, but unfortunately fell down a hillside after she tripped upon a tree root, falling down the hill and twisting her ankle. She looked up through tears towards her father, pleading her his help as she found she couldn't put any major weight upon her foot now. Her father however looked into her eyes and turned his back upon her, leaving her there at the foot of a hill, not once looking back as he continued on, leaving her there for dead. Ydrisa cried for many hours from the physical and emotional pain of it all before she pulled herself together enough to crawl back up the hill and to use a sturdy branch to take her weight off of her foot. Her misfortune was not fully over just yet however as she wandered, lost for weeks, barely managing to survive on what little she could scavenge as she walked aimlessly. Her luck finally looked up however after she found what seemed to be a somewhat worn trail, hobbling weakly along it she spotted a home of sorts, tucked away among the trees. An old wood elf couple lived in this house, and upon seeing Ydrisa upon their doorstep, looking to have one foot in the grave from her various improperly treated wounds they took her in, tending to her needs. The older elf gently cared for her while the elderly man managed to locate a healer to assist in her recovery. It was the first time that she had been so cared for in so long, and the warmth of their smiles sunk deep into her heart. For years she lived with the couple, having been taken in despite her lack of seed markings and unknown to the couple's origins, working hard to contribute and keep them smiling, helping with tending to the bees and learning even more from them on how to survive and sustain herself. The couple raised her and prepared her for the future as best they could before they finally passed away when she was just 21. She of course tended their passing and stayed for some more years in mourning within their home, thinking to the past and the lessons she learned. She stayed there, tending the bees and trying to keep the memories alive before she turned 26, realizing that she could bring those smiles to others and that she needed to go and enrich herself further she left the house, bidding it a goodbye as she then left, aiming to finally live her life instead of passively watching it go by.
