The bearded young man stepped off the barque, the wooden plank that connected the ship to the port creaking as the sounds of waves crashing into each other and against the stone filled the salty, fish scented air. He made his way down to the solid ground ahead, his dark grey eyes scanned the bazaar in search for a specific shop, though failing to find what he was looking for from just a glance. He thought it best to begin to search throughout the bustling bazaar, rather than just idling in front of the wooden vessel. A leather boot knocked against the ground as he made his first step into the market. Though, he was quickly caught off guard by the gentleman stepping in front of his path, and having the audacity to interrupt his train of thought with what Demetrius thought to be needless questions. With his somewhat positive mood now ruined by this stranger, he didn't bother to greet him. However, he wasn't about to be a total jackass to the first person he meets here. "I appreciate your interest my friend, but I have duties to attend." Demetrius offered a smile to the other, albeit a fake one. "Now, I'd appreciate it if you let me pass, it was a pleasure talking to you." A gloved hand extended in an attempt to offer a handshake before he continued his path.
