Chrysanthemum Snufkin was born on 59 SA on 'the First Seed', in the Principality of Celia'nor, on a bright and sunny day while all the flowers were in bloom and life was awakening. He was named after a flower and had a fascination for nature. His father, however, found it unbecoming of a high elf to prance around in the fields all day where he claimed "only filth lay there". His mother would steel herself in these moments, and while she was would smile at Chrys like he was the light in her dark iris, she was also distant and quiet at times. It didn't help that Chrys had his dad's eyes and his dad's same fiery hair. He'd hide in his sheets when he heard yelling through the walls. While his family was proud and traditional, the heart in it was empty, but Chrys is determined to change that. As he grew older, he held his head high, determined to become a better man than his dad.
