  1. If two people are constantly arguing about the same point of contention in a CRP for more than five or ten minutes, it does seem like a very reasonable solution to agree to simply rolling and going from there for the overall sake of creating a narrative.

This is a game, it is not life or death. Just have fun with it and roll with what happens rather than just trying to min-max another CRP encounter the next time you have one :)

  2. Somewhere a drake smiled. Rows of fanged teeth broke that once seemingly innocent countenance. Humanity thus far had proven an interesting sight to spectate. However, the time for her merely to be a ‘bystander’ was ending. The path of war was clear, and so would be her own into this fray.

    Ambiance - [X]
    I see with
eyes, already fixated. I move with bones blackened with char.
    I speak with a
mouth full of words, devoid of all meaning.
    I touch with
    flesh, already transformed to stone.
    I slice with blunted steel.
Within unwavering eternity, there is still yet ashes which shift.

    Vertical1.png I
weep for my beloved, which I never had. I hear her words, which flutter as molten wings. A tug, a pull, a yearning for what will never be.Vertical2.png

Memories that cannot be silenced. It is a voice, which remains silent aside from whispering taunts.

A rage takes the place of confusion. A conflagration that has no direction, only the promise of destruction.

A self-immolation, left only to sorrow.

Burnt, are those pale hands. Burnt, are those brown eyes that beheld me. She is naught, but ashes. Yet the flames still rise. . . .

  4. A horned creature leaned over a small, cramped table as black slits peered over the parchment.  There remained an explanation, an answer finally given to one of their questions. Ystifae gave a time of pause to rest in the satisfaction that came with an answer finally. It was fleeting though, and soon gave rise to a deep rage withiin her form... Was retribution was at hand for the deceased woman?

  5. A newborn drake hissed in rage at the battle that had taken place and the defeat that followed. They had licked their wounds and helped her sole kindred in the conflict do the same.

Disappointment muddled with a newfound anger, of whose depths had not been felt yet in the short months after their birth.

A talon bearing hand was lifted, and smashed into the blackened stone of the wall adjacent to the dragon. Preparations had been made, and they joined the Hordes of the Serpent in their search...

Boknice is a really active player and a very good one. He is dedicated always to providing good rp and his clique he has around him are prolly some of the best lore thinkers out there.

I know there might be some contention that's is a religious lair or can be under someone, but that type of thinking usually kills religious group ideas because it railroads creativity.

Let this man and his clique have a fun and creative settlement to enrich the server while also providing the fun this server so desperately needs.

As someone who has been involved with the conflict and RP that had been generated from this, I can 100% agree with everything said. This lair being accepted would only bring about more conflict and a positive RP narrative.

  7. "Are they intent on repeating this, running in this same circle?"
    Two draconic
eyes  peered over what had been written. A sigh then followed and a plume of smoke arose from that creature. Ystifae then closed her eyes, and words rasped from her in a quiet threat.
                    "A threat."
                                            "A tongue lost."
                                                                             "Another threat."
                                                                                                               "Charred marble."

    Transformed form:

             Azdrazi - Nephilim

    Creator's MC Name:

             Qizu

    Creator's RP Name:

             Ut'torvioth

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Azdrazi are the draconic progeny of Azdromoth. They are the result of a descendent who has rejected their humanity and mortality, and spent many many years persevering through various tests and trials in order to prove their devotion to Azdromoth. The descent they were once before is cast into fire and through the ritual of transference, and a new being born. This newborn entity is an Azdrazi.

The mind of a Nephilim is twisted and warped from what it once was. They are far more prone to thinking in more draconic ways, and can become intensely obsessive over the things they once were in life. While their mind may have remnants of memories, emotions and habits of what they once were, they may find themselves struggling to come to terms with these and how to integrate them into their new psyche. This can lead them to acting in incredibly strange neurotic ways such as they grapple with this loss throughout their immortality. They are prone to bouts of rage, sorrow, and other intense emotions as they struggle with this new adjustment.

One of the most prominent blessings, or curses is their effective immortality. This does not mean that they are unkillable, and are subject to steel just as normal descendants are. They are however capable of revival within a personal shrine that they may erect. While they are entirely immune to all types of flame except for malflame and true dragonsflame, they still bear a number of weaknesses. The most notable of such is potent sources of cold, such as frost witches, potions and other cold-aligned magics. Thahnium also bears a particular strength against them as a wound from such will rend into their form and prevent any form of calling on their inner flame.

The once mortal soul has been twisted and are considered fully draconic creatures and bear fitting souls. They bear a new resource in their form called the Inner flame, that they may call upon in order to fall forth dragonsflame and other innate abilities. It is a substance that permeates their entire body and soul. This is not an unlimited font however, and calling upon it too much risks exhaustion and death if one does not take care. They are capable of such feats as spewing flames from their maw, and throwing balls of fire.

Another notable boon they have been granted is the ability to change and disguise their form. This is a lesser form of polymorphing that they may utilize in order to hide their true, monstrous appearance. It is not perfect as they must give frequent tells, such as embers or ashes flaking from their form, breathing out smoke or soot, and waves of heat radiating visibly from them. If they cast from their inner flame, their polymorph is broken and true form revealed.

To live as a Nephilim is to live as a sworn enemy of Xan, and many other forces that may seek to corrupt them. Inferi, and forces of Iblees may seek to corrupt the Azdrazi, a fate that they would rather turn to stone than face willingly. They are forced into an immortality of servitude in reverence to Azdromoth, to seek to spread his influence into the minds of descendants. Their existence becomes one of searching for answers and going towards their enlightenment. However over the course of their life, they may undergo incredible amounts of mental changes as their mind struggles and shifts.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

The Nephilim take on many of the traits of their draconic father. They grow up to a foot taller than they were as a descendant, and are at the peak of strength of what they once were. This is up to a maximum height of 7’6’’. They bear taloned hands and feet typically, as well as skin that bears red, gray and black tones. They will always have a set of horns upon their head as well, matching in similar tones. It is not uncommon for them to have a number of patches of scales on their body, as well as slitted eyes usually the color of flames. They are certainly monstrous creatures, bearing only some aspects of likeness to what once made them mortal.

A letter had been sent to the court Viceroyalty of Hyspia in Haense, bearing no significant markings. It is likely one of their leadership would receive it and be amongst the first to open it.

When opened one would be greeted with a foul odor, alongside the following bloodstained note:
"We have taken Francisco Javier from your home. He was defeated in an attempt to undo the blizzards which so rightfully batter at your horrid city.
With every day that passes, the wretched man shall know pain and torture. I tell you thus:
Francisco is alive. There remains yet a chance for him to return to your pathetic city (mostly) unharmed. If and only if our demands are met in their entirety:

A direct descent of your Francisco shall deliver four hundred mina to the frozen ruins of Ailmere.

    They shall do this alone.

For every moment that you hesitate, you risk only further harm to your Emeritus and forefather.

    Tick.. tock.."

Further investigation into the envelop would reveal three severed fingers that had been delicately tucked into it. The fingers did indeed belong to the Hyspian, Francisco Javier.

OOC: Please note this letter has been sent specifically to the court of Hyspia, and is NOT a public missive.
