You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Verdin eyes the hag suspiciously, but shrugs, not really seeing the old lady as a threat. Still, he keeps a hand near his belt, close to his blade in case she tries anything funny. He sighs, grinning subtly as he sits. "My story? Well, if you've been expecting me, I imagine you know why I'm here. I'm hardly surprised, I can't imagine there's much else to do in this backwater town. Must make big news when a duelist like me comes to town" Verdin muses, chuckling slightly and narrowing his eyes. "I'll make sure to show you folks a duel you'll never forget" He finishes, bowing his head respectfully.
