Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) “You’ve been expected me?” Nicholas asked as he looked around the tent “Have we met somewhere before?” He asked as he sat down on the cushion. "I come from a small city, a place far from here," he began, his tone calm but edged with weariness. "It wasn’t much.. simple, quiet but it was home. At least, it used to be. Life there started feeling... exhausting, like I was just going through a never ending cycle. I knew I couldn’t stay forever." "I just want a fresh start, a chance to make something of myself. Maybe this town will give me that… or maybe it’ll give me something else entirely." "But that’s my story, for now." Nicholas said standing up the cushions creaking softly "i have to go now goodbye"
