A Dark Elf’s Journey Home [!] There is a missive posted on a notice board in the Tavern [!] To all those who know me, and for those who don’t know me…My Name is Nyx Valmuel, formerly known as Nyx Vespar, before I married into the Valmuel House. I’m also one of the Leaders of StarHaven and the owner of the MoonShadow Tavern located in Urguan. Though to get back to the topic at hand…I will be on a long journey back to my home Village… Naluna the Trading Village from the Kingdom of Mythibel, though i know many if not all haven’t heard of this place, but this is in a far land on a different continent…there is a festival that is being held that has been a tradition of my family for many generations… celebrating the Moon and Stars… Though I will miss many of the people I have met over the Moons and Seasons…I will return in due time…if my travels are well, of course…but with that I must say…at least for now Van’ayla Lliran…. The Raid Against Haense Sitting on the edge of a cliff near a farm house was a Dark Elf, writing in a journal only being able to see with the candle light nearby during the night. She writes about how the raid had gone, remembering the moments she witnessed and had taken part in…. "It was interesting to say the least….let’s start with the beginning…. I was traveling around the Skingdoms, trying to get the idea of who stands where in this war…I wa3s officially on my way back to Urguan when I heard it…the rally bell and a yell. “Rally together! We need to save our Allay!” It was a blur from there…getting our gear together, armor, weapons, horses….everything for battle. It was then I realized this was a real battle about to happen…and then we were off upon our mounts. We headed off to Numendil gathering with the rest of the brigade, all armed and planning for the raid on Haense. Many kingdoms were there…far too many to keep count…all gathered around on horseback. Then as one we rode off to the kingdom, it was all a blur and sooner than I thought we were scaling the walls of Haense before heading to the throne room ... .and within that throne room there they were….all gathered around the throne…ready for us to attack…. A flurry of swords….javelins…spears….arrows…shields….there was the fight….myself along with comrades in arms charged forward attacking with many if not all going down one by one until….we won it was when it was yelled out they were defeated did we pull back to catch our breath and tend to some injuries we received….but in the end we took them captive and searched through their land for anything valuable. Though I received some injury to my arm and shoulder I still raised my spear with pride…of course I would have stayed around however I had a family to tend to…so with that I took my leave to rest and write down in my journals…I will continue to write my adventures and soon to be battles to come….but with that I finish this entry…" Signed Nyx Valmuel (OOC Note - This is my first forum post, still figuring things out)

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” "Hm?" You turn to your head after looking around and go to sit down in front of her. After adjusting to the cushion you take a look at her, studying to see what her intentions are before speaking... "Well, where should I start? I have many stories of my adventures--" You pause before smiling and begin to lean closer, resting your head on your hand supported by your knee, as you gaze straight into her eyes. "Is there a particular one you would like to hear about?" Tilting your head to await her answer...

"Let's start off easy and officially introduce myself, I am Nyx Vespar a Dark Elf, and my journey began---" And so the story starts... (Nyx Vespar comes from a village that's located at the foot of a mountain. She likes to cook, trade, and learn about the world and history. She is rather a peaceful dark elf as she doesn't enjoy fighting but that doesn't stop her from trying to defend herself and others whom she supports. She also doesn't remember much about her biological family so she always likes to help others and show support, help, and care. She likes to live a comfortable life with some adventure and discovery while also working at a tavern.)
