Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Example: Alec sits, his cloak fluttering, a bright flash revealing an enormous slab of metal on my back. Alec grabs a small, red, grotesque egg from his satchel at his waist, and holds it in his bandaged hand. "I'm looking for the owner of this area's egg, and the egg itself." He puts the egg back in his satchel, and turns his gaze upward towards the hag. His hand brushes a scarred tattoo on his neck, and he licks the blood from the wound, his eyes still on the hag. "Where can I find the Apostle of the Swamp?"
