Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
Making his way further into the tent, Larry takes a seat promptly on the cushion. "Not sure what there is to tell.. but I suppose I'll start from back home.." Clearing his throat, he leans in a bit closer, clasping his hands together and setting his arms on his lap, "My place of home isn't far, but it's far enough for a visit to be a struggle. My mother and father conceived and raised me in our hometown, a costal village in the East." Larry would look down for a second, breaking eye contact, "Unfortunately, much of my family and life back home has been washed away.. There were some conflicts I wasn't strong enough to endure." Taking in a deep breath, he'd exhale, leaning back and stretching, "But I'll do my best to live in their honor. That's all I can do really."

Larry's Lore: Larry was born on a costal village, one that sat high on a cliff to protect from the dangerous seas. From a young age he was always drawn to the water, spending many hours with his father who was a Fisherman. As he grew older, Larry developed many useful skills and a strong work ethic. However, he was always burdened by the place he was born and wished for many of his years to venture out one day. Unfortunately, his town came under siege by pirates, and Larry was only able to escape himself. Burdened by the loss of his friends and family, he decided he would live his life to the fullest in their honor.
