Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Aria sit's down warily, watching a bug crawl by hesitantly. "Expecting me...?" She said raising an eyebrow. Who the hell is this lady? she wonders, and yet, Aria felt compelled to share her life story as if under the spell of an enchantress. Aria inhales then begins to speak her words precise, making sure not to tell this stranger too much about herself "Well um I was born... obviously. I was raised in Hyspia by my mother and father. My life has been for the most part pretty... uh boring..." Aria said trailing off before feeling the need to clarify exactly what she means by that "Uh my parents were well off merchants. Not super wealthy but not struggling either. Just average. I went to school.. finished school.. and got a job. Pretty average." Aria looked at the ground "Umm why'd you say you've been 'expecting' me?" Aria asked looking up at the woman however when she did there was no woman. Just an empty tent and some candles. Perhaps this was a sign of her potentially declining mental health, or the woman was actually an enchantress. Aria quite frankly couldn't bring herself to dwell on it for too long, she had to get home! Just accepting the experience Aria left he scene before someone caught her talking to herself.
