Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Eirkyr nods swiftly and sits down carefully on the cushion where the hag had instructed him to sit, several trinkets that hung from his belt jingling alongside his movements. His face hidden by an iron-masked helmet, the mask bore intricate golden engravings that reformed the man's burnt face. "I come seeking opportunities, Ma'am." He stopped for a bit, waiting to see if the hag was going to respond or question him. She hasn't, so he just continued. "I've been searching for jobs as a mercenary for quite a while now, though I've not been able to find much, Ma'am. I come from up north and have been trickling down the land until I have reached your hut. I've been left wandering and having to earn coin ever since I was a child, you see…" Eirkyr paused for a moment, inhaling deeply as he regained warmth. "My parents, along with my siblings, have been taken away from me since I was young, burnt alive alongside my childhood home. I survived because the fire inside me burned brighter than the fire around me. Though, it has left me scarred across my entire body and an outcast."
