Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) The high elf stops inside the tent without approaching the cushion, remaining on their feet and alert. Born far from the swamps, they grew up training both body and mind, learning to trust instinct over empty words. From a young age, they left their homeland to walk different paths, seeking challenges and personal strength. Now, the old woman’s claim unsettles them, as they never announce their arrival nor leave traces behind. “I do not draw attention to myself,” they say in a low voice, watching her closely. “So tell me… how do you know me, and why were you expecting me?”

Your character has just arrived in a gloomy, swampy village. Looking around, they come across shacks and huts. The air smells of rotten wood and damp moss. They duck down and enter a shabby tent, lit by a string of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old witch raises her head: "What brings you to this dreary village?" She begins, then pauses to study your face: "Ah, it's you... I was expecting you. Sit down," she says, gesturing to a cushion. "Tell me your story." ((How do they respond?)) The tall goblin stops inside the tent without approaching the cushion. They stand, watching the old woman and the floating candles, alert to their every move. The idea of having been awaited doesn't sit well with them. "I don't usually announce my arrival," they say in a low voice. "And yet, you claim you were expecting me." Their posture is firm, prepared. —I want to know where you know me from… and why?.
