Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Aelvyr nodded slowly, giving the hag a friendly yet gentle smile as her head dipped into a bow before rising once more. She took a seat where the woman had gestured, adjusting her clothing as she settled on the seat. The girl's hands reached up and removed an old yet maintained helmet from her head, letting it rest on her lap. "I just thought I'd require a fresh start, Ma'am." - "I come from the upper north, where there is not much for me to do anymore. I wish to run away from my past, leave it all behind. A fresh start cannot hurt, can it?" Aelvyr chuckled softly before continuing. "I must ask, have you perhaps spotted my brother pass by here? Tall, short blonde hair and blue eyes, possibly heavily armored.." The girl questioned and described, seeming hopeful. "I've heard he passed by there not long ago."
