Brienne was born to a rather poor family from Judi, hence the missing last-name. They made a lot of good connections with their fellow people, working for pennies on the dollar. After work was finished they'd go out with their friend's to gamble. They had always found a way to steer clear of the religious "psychosis" she would call it, that the other people had fallen to. They had always to be a Knight, yet their family found it quite unrealistic of her due to them being a weak little girl. Once they had grown old enough to defend themselves they traveled far away, to a place they may be able to one day gain the nobility they had dreamed of. And they found themselves at the Grense, the heart of Burgundy, where she may find a way to earn herself a path to nobility.
