((Seriously, this is totally screwed up, I log on in a destroyed city where I had made my only home and now I can't even afford to buy a new one. I don't like the fact that I can be offline for a day and then suddenly be homeless. Possible solution: Make it so people can't edit regions belonging to people who are offline at the time))

Look, just to be clear, killing is not what I have a problem with. I take offence to the blatant disregard for the value of life, and by extension the ignorance of the severity of death. Kill people, fine, I don't care, but respect the dead, that's all I'm saying.

I'm not saying killing is to be avoided, it's a natural part of the world we live in, but respect for the dead is paramount. I have no hatred of the Orcs, but the Human way of life should be respect for all, even our enemies, and especially at the hour of their death.

We humans are a race unlike any other. We have achieved much during our lives in Aegis. Great cities sprawl throughout our kingdom, and our military is strong. However our people have become weakened. I speak not of the treachery and plotting of those Humans who chose to live outside the law, but those who reside cozily within it. We Humans have become weak I say, we have lost touch with our purpose. How can we become diplomats and unite the races when we cherish death so heartily? We cheer for the death of our enemies and that saddens me. We praise those who slay "traitors". But the real traitors are those who cheer for the death. When we cheer the death of one of our own, no matter their morality, we are committing an offence against the God of Aegis. I have witnessed rejoicing at the death of a traitor, and I'm sure no Humans would shed a tear for a slain Orc, but shouldn't we? Why should it matter whether they were an enemy or just a stranger? A death is a death, and we have no right to celebrate death. Leave that unseemly behavior to the Undead. My point is this, we will kill, that is inevitable, but when we do we should not be happy. We should honor the dead knowing full well that we are responsible for their demise. So I urge all Humans, have reverence for the dead, even if they have personally wronged you, let their souls rest knowing you have given them respect. Do not cheer death. And as a final note, to the other races. Please try to remember that even Humans are people.

Are you idiots kidding me?! Making enemies with other races is exactly what we shouldn't do! The whole point of a human kingdom is so we can settle disputes diplomatically and resort to violence only as a last defense. All Dwarves previously offended please realize that those who have insulted you are as brutish as they claim Orcs to be. Please know that not all humans are as ignorant as them and accept my hand of friendship instead of their rude taunts. Some humans do not realize that in describing other races, what they say merely reflects themselves. I happen to know that some humans (myself included) would be able to live along side even Orcs peacefully. To make a long story short, I'm issuing a formal apology to all races on behalf of the humans, in the hope that one day peace will flourish. (If you think I'm mad, it's probably because I was raised by scholars.)
