  1. Bein'lur stood, watching his surroundings as he lay bleeding slowly, it was not the Mighty Scaddernak that had bested him, nor the wolf. But a simple Boar. Smiling, he lay down, preparing for his inevitable death. He felt the wound, it had ripped into his lungs and had caused internal bleeding, yet the feeling to Bein was bliss.

A Flash of light appeared in front of him, as he saw Mara, his lifemate who had died long ago. He grinned as he prepared to join her. He closed his eyes slowly, and felt as his soul flew out of his body and joined Mara. They evaporated into particles, as they drifted towards their final resting place.

    Meanwhile

Ber'mar grabs hold of the mast, as a sudden pain shocks through him. A single tear rolls down his cheek as he realises what has happened. Land is in sight, and...

OOC: Someone else can play as Ber'mar, his story hasn't finished yet, Whoever wishes to, Can, Farewell Orcies!

  2. I hunt but cannot cook, However i am a level 60 farmer, So would i be allowed to farm and hunt?

    Will there be cooks?

If anybody wishes to cook, they can, if not, we eat raw. Yes, you can farm and hunt, more food means bigger survival rate, etc. :P

  3. I personally would love to join, If i do should i change my race to a nomadic orc? Im just a normal orc atm, Also when will this village be built and ready to join?

This village will be built soon, once ready and accepted and no, you don't, its your choice.

@t1madsmurf Yes, you can be a farmer within the village, but don't expect huge farms, just small farms for the essentials that cannot be hunted for.

  4. Sounds good, but how do you plan to RP the 'Scaddernacks'?

Good question, well, since the Scaddernacks are immobile, blocks in the server, we would roleplay on the forums about battles with them in, or when telling others. We would brag about their sizes, etc.

  5. Actually all emperors work like this

Look at Persians who ruled over their sultans

And indian emperors who performed a puja with the kings they conquered

Romans practised this as well with their conquered tibal chiefs and kings

Sorry for getting so off-topic elt :P

But anyway, The Romans who conquered other Lands would not have them as named as King's, or any title other than Regional Governor, and even then, the Regional governor would probably be one from the Senate.

  6. An Emperor rules over kings. Since there are no orc Kings so we don't have an empire

Not necessarily, as there are a few different types of Empires.

You have the Roman styled one, where there is an Emperor, who acts like King, who listens to a Senate.

You have a Holy Roman Empire Styled one, where there are many dukes, kings etc. under him, all serving him.

  7. ((Question: if this is nomadic, how is it a village? Isn't a nomad by definition someone without a permanent home?))

Technically yes, but since this is a village charter, I call it a village, and also I see a village as a community that survives together, not just permanent buildings.

  8. VILLAGE CHARTER

    MC Name: TheImpulseHQ

    RP Name: Bein’lur

    Village Name: Harzak

Why is your character starting this village/settlement? What is its purpose?

Bein’lur is a nomad at Heart, and a natural hunter being descended from Lur, son of Krug and the First Huntzgoth. Bein has tired of civilization and wishes to retreat back into the wilds and live a simple life of hunting, raiding and surviving. As an accomplished hunter, Bein shall make the Village revolved around the Honour of the land, the strength of the beasts and the reverence of the legendary Huntzgoths, Masters of the Orcish Beasts.

As a Nomad, Bein shall make sure that the village does not stay in one place for too long, moving from water hole to water hole aswell as good hunting grounds within their desert.

What type of political system or leadership is within the village?

The Political System shall be a Dictatorship, Following this Chain

Zak’ur (Chieftan) - at the top, leading the Village to war and peace, and deciding when they shall move.

Zuk’ak and Zuk’de - The Twin shamans, ‘ak is the shaman of the Beasts, ‘de is the Shaman of the Prey.

Zak’in - leads the war party of the village, and keeps it safe.

Zek’jin - The Lead Hunter of the Village

After these, “Officer” ranks, the rest of them shall be citizens, though the Citizens also double as guards and the warriors of the village and take whatever other jobs they wish to, within reason.

What sort of behavior will residents exhibit? (Race relations, nation relations, etc.)

Xenophobia: While not extremely Xenophobic, other races will find it hard to integrate fully into this primitive, living off the land lifestyle that many others may not find to their comfort.

Relations: They shall be ruled by the Orc Warnation and therefore they shall have the same relations to other nations as their Leader decrees. Though they will still organise Raids against small towns that anger them, or maybe refuse Tribute

Where would you prefer the town’s region be? Including a screenshot of the land would be nice (of game or map).

A Desert Preferably, or plains. I have one in mind, but There is not currently a Dynmap up and the current map doesn’t show it. Once i can find it, I will post Pictures up.

Any other details (architecture, races, culture, etc):

The Architecture shall be very easy to pick and and put down Tents, with a few more harder buildings to put up and down that would only be made if the place was good enough for the village to stay, e.g. Good hunting grounds, large water hole.

The Race’s allowed will be primarily Orc, though others can join the Village if they prove themselves worthy, though this shall be a small chance.

The Culture shall revolve around the Reverence of the Land and the Beasts, the two shamans shall show the two parts of the Hunt, the Hunter and the Hunted. They shall teach the Village as to how important the hunt is to the balance of life, and the glory of being the hunter and the thrill of being the hunted.

The Village shall primarily use two animals, The Mighty Scaddernaks for War and Transport of tents, and people. The Village shall start out with two scaddernaks, Haruzk who is a War-scaddernak and has a seat for the Chieftan to ride upon. Uglar shall be a Transport scaddernak, transporting goods and people from camp to camp and also in trades. Jabbernacks are a form of Large riding lizard, used for hunting and the transport of people, they are named by their rider and belong to their rider alone, so they can be RP built by someone who has permission to make one if they go on a hunting trip to “tame” one. Check the wiki for more informations + Pics of these two Beasts.

  12. Bein'lur sees the commotion from the Great Beyond, his face turns into a scowl when he sees a Dom, remembering the slaughter of most of his Lur's. Rather than send his fury down, he simply carries on hunting, and chucks Arak an axe, as they charge at a Savage Scaddernak

((Btw, The Dom and Rax clan had a unique approach to Clan names, they got so large, that the High ups wanted to remain known as the High ups, so they made it that they would have Or' in front of their name, like Or'jak, Or'ta, Or'ku, whereas Middle and lower clan members, would have something like Magush'dom. So having Or' and 'dom means he must think he is truly special lol, :P)

  13. - Da Bubhosh throqu of da clans as recorded by Dominus Bein'lur, a few months before his Death.

Fellow Bruthas, as i write this tale of heroism, fighting and great evil, ya must remember to take what da humans call morals and learn from it, for we must learn from da mistakes dat 'appened, when da sons of krug turned against each other, and spilt much blood in da name of two warlords

    Chapter 1: An Unexpected Breakfast

    Chapter 2: Decimation of San'lur

    - An Unexpected Breakfast -

Tythor groaned quietly as he sat up, he looked at his mate and half-smiled as he remembered the Night Before. He gently pulled out of the bed, trying to remember her name. He strolled over to his leather armour and pulled it on, he grimaced as he looked at his belly, and saw that it had widened as if someone had stuffed a few melons into it. He started flexing his muscles, trying to convince himself he was still the biggest, baddest orc there was, not like that slimy git Or'jak.

After many attempts to fasten his stomach plate, which kept flying off, he managed to trip over his mate and smash into the floor. His Guards came crashing in, swords unsheathed, shouting and cursing at the invisible assassins. "Oi, 'ho 'ere threatens da warboss, eh?" bellowed Grak'tuk, a fierce orc, giant in stature, even compared to Tythor, who was one of the tallest and biggest orcs, some said second only to Krug.

"Nuthin' is 'appinin ya halfwit, now 'elp me up and get ids one…rem, Mora is it?" Tythor bellowed, then yelped in anger as his mate threw a chair at him. "Its Maka! How could ya not remember me? I have given ya two babes" screeched Maka. Tythor was trembling with anger and readied his fists, his skin had turned a very dark red, almost as red as the Phol clan. "How dare ya talk back to me like that! I am the Great Warboss!" and with that shout, Maka stormed out of the Huge Tent, cursing under her breath.

"Bah! Who needs them, i have enough sons, and i 'ave me greatest sons, Tythin and Tythax, they are all i need!" shouted Tythor to the entire camp, in a shout that caused some birds to drop dead of shock. He saw his son Tythus, a small statured orc and not as good a fighter as his brothers, stop at the tent, before quickly walking away.

For Tythor, he expected Breakfast seconds after he woke up, to his shock, it took Five whole minutes. That put him in a bad mood, as he wolfed down his soup, which was actually just a cooked chicken stuck in wolf's blood, rumoured to make an Orc very strong. Maybe it wasn't so bad, thought Tythor, he could always find a better mate, Maka had started to bore him anyway.

Silence invaded his tent, he was confused, a minute ago he had heard the usual, orcs fighting, pups play-fighting. Then he heard screams of terror, and battle cries. Tythor shot up, knocking his table over and spilling him "soup" everywhere. He grabbed his favourite axe and charged out of his tent, in time to see a fireball hurtling towards him. He held up his axe as flames engulfed him

Tythor pulled himself up, his skin charred and black as night. Gripping his favourite axe and grinning madly, he charged out of his burning tent into an inferno of blood, fire and steel. He saw an orc get blasted into the air as an invisible force smashed into him, another orc had three arrows embed into his chest and he fell laughing. Tythor spotted Or'jak with his shaman staff, shooting fireballs at the Rax orcs. He had a person legion of Shamans with him and a few hundred orc soldiers, fully plated in great heavy armour.

Tythor charged, roaring loudly and waving his axe in the air as he jumped onto a Dom and plunged his axe into the neck, blood spraying all over him. He saw Tythax stabbing wildly at a Dom shaman and Tythin lost in a crowd of axes and swords. Tythor glanced left and saw his Brutha, Tythka, getting executed by Or'ta. Tythor ran towards Or'ta, but was stopped by Or'jak firing several fireballs at him. He smashed them away with his axe, and saw the mess of what had once been his Brutha.

Drawing an arrow, he threw it at Or'ta and saw it enter Or'ta's Knee and grinned as Or'ta screamed in pain and started to run back to his Father. Or'jak and his shamans were charging up a huge fireball spell, that would be able to burn away all his forces. He drew back his Axe, and chucked it towards Or'jak. It hit Or'jak in the foot and made Or'jak look down in pain, as the fire spell went off. It exploded at their feet and blasted them into pieces.

The Top of the gate where they had been standing collapsed in fire and crushed many of the Dom Warriors. The rest carried on fighting or fled, those who fled were led by Or'ta and they ran as fast as the wind could take them. Tythor walked over to where his Brutha had been killed, and grinned, glad that his brutha had died nobly. Tythor almost collapsed but managed to stay standing, as he walked back to his smouldering tent, for the grip of his Ugly mate Maka.
