    In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Character’s name: Ub'Tungo "Harold" de Savage

    Character’s gender: Male

    Character’s race: Olog (Orc)

    Character’s age: 36

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Ub'Tungo was born in the realm of  kodar'goi, just before an Orenian invasion. During the slaughters of his peoples, he was captured by slavers of the fighting pits. There he was told to fight, and he did so. He was not smart enough to think otherwise, truly. He did as he was told, and became very fond of his master, carrying out all of his orders to the tee.

When Gereon de Savoie witnessed one of Ub'Tungo's fights, the man of power quickly purchased him to be a battle beast. He was adopted with the name "Harold," and again grew very fond of his master. Today he lives in Felsen, wearing a loin cloth with the Savoie colours, ready to do his master's bidding.

    Personality Traits: Loyal, Protective, Slow

    Ambitions: To serve his master.

Strengths/Talents: Extreme strength. Sees a task to the end.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Stupid. Extremely stupid. Can not even speak, so stupid.

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): 12 foot. Fat blob of muscle and fat.

Appearance, please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin (If you need help, see our screenshot guide here):

What is something you have always wanted to change on the server?: Transparency. I feel like the administrative members of the server should always be able to honestly speak out to the community about the goings on, and should not be afraid to do so. The playerbase ultimately makes up the server, no matter what position you are in, and they deserve to know.

    What are your finest qualities?:

    Diligent.png Diligent

    Humble.png Humble

    Honest.png Honest

    Trusting.png Trusting

    Organizer.png Organizer

What are your worst qualities, and how could you improve these aspects?:

    Wroth.png Wroth

    Unyielding_leader.png Unyielding Leader (Stubborn)

Excommunicated.png Excommunicated (Have been banned before.)

I suppose to improve in these aspects, I could try to see situations from other peoples shoes, take deep breaths and try to take time to diffuse a situation. I'm sure that though my trial-ship I would be able to learn the different tips and tricks that other GM's use to keep a cool head.

What members of the Staff could you look to for guidance?:

    Roy, Sliceman, Tirenas

Who do you not get along with on the current team?:

I think I get along with everyone at the moment.

How much free time do you have? Will this change in the foreseeable future?:

I'll be able to get on regularly, though I'm going into senior year at high school and that will be stressful, but I'd be able to handle it.

  3. I'd ask them if they'd be willing to help out on a project, methinks. I don't know, I've always been bad at asking for help.

For HELPING people, however, I'd pop in to chat often, see who needs help, etc, etc, and even events I catch wind of that sound interesting, I'd go out of my way to talk to the event leader to try and hop on board.

Have you ever been banned or received a strike? If so, link the report:

I have, once a long time ago for pugsying during the mass exodus (which there is no report for) and I received a few strikes back BEFORE the Exodus during RP involving stealing a boat.

Do you hold / have you held any other staff positions? I used to be MT for a short time.

What MMORPG/video games have you / do you play? (Past and Present)

    Anything and everything, really.

    • Chivalry/All other FPS like games

    • Mount and Blade: Warband

    • Faster Than Light

    • Skyrim

    • Oblivion

    • Most Total War titles

    • RuneScape

    • DM’ing (dungeon mastering) Dungeon and Dragon’s Questlines

    • The Legend of Zelda

    and my favorite

    • Banjo Kazooie

What are your characters? Are you willing to sacrifice any to become a Event member?

Currently I play one character, Thomas Delaney, and if I had to get rid of him to focus on events more, I’d do it.

What race / group do you think your events would best cater to? If none in particular, give an example of the type of group that your events would entertain.

To be honest, I would try to get events out to any and all people. I would try to do some interesting events indiscriminately, so long as the parties involved were willing.

What do you believe are key factors for a successful event?

I think having a clear endpoint is really important. People in the event may do whatever they want, because well, it’s a dynamic server with dynamic rp and people are going to do what they want. Organizing your thoughts about what you want accomplished with the event is best, whether it be a “questline” or a simple storyline, it doesn’t matter! Having a clear idea of what you want accomplished will let you best adapt to what people are doing.

When was the last time you saw a event?

The last event I’ve seen was the one ran by ACanadianCraft, and I rather enjoyed the event. It was one of the Renatian end events, where we had to collect a rapier to put down the undead!

What strengths could you contribute to the Event Team? Are you knowledgeable in lore or great at organizing?

I take pride at being able to quickly pick up a characters concept/idea, so if other ET’s need help, I’d be able to hop aboard and help quickly! I’m also fairly good at improvisation,

Why do you want to be part of the ET?

I just want to help stimulate more interesting RP within the server. I don’t really know what else to say.

Create three distinct RP scenarios/events based on LOTC lore that you would organize. These are pitches to the Managers and Freema, not to the community. Note: Not all of the group must be handled at once. Eg: 20+ people via 5 person increments in a dungeon.

    • 1) For 1-3 person

It would begin in a tavern, or any public place really. There would be a shady looking fellow who would engage the very small group of peoples (or singular person) and tell them about a terrible problem that has been happening! Through good convincing, it would be “revealed” that a monster is rampant within the countryside, and he needs your help to kill it! Upon arriving to where the monster has been “reported” to be seen, the shady man will start getting more and more fidgety, until a small group (2-3) bandits pop out to meet the fellows! A small fight will ensue (unless people flee) and while the fight will be tough to win, the eventee’s (is that what you call someone taking part in an event?) will win. Simple loot: Shortsword, Cloak, etc.

    • 2) For a group of 5-10

In the city of Cerluin, an old, decrepit looking halfling will call for the towns attention. To those fortunate enough to pay attention, the halfling announces there will be a small tournament for the rare gems he holds! The players will participate in mini-game type scenarios, containing racing, riddle solving, and last but not least, the one v one brawl!

    • 3) For a group of 20+

    **REQUIRES MORE THAN ONE ET

In the Caliphate of Khalestine, a large caravan teeming with camels and Ishmaelites arrives at the gate, seeking to sell their wares! Upon entering the city, the leader of the hairy bunch will seek out the Caliph (this would be organized with the nexus plot owner) and attempt to capture the Royal man, and perhaps a fight, or desperation rp (with the people in the room with the merchant and the Caliph) to try to get him to be set free! All the meanwhile, the caravan down in the city will be selling their wares, from spices to tinkers toys, and when word gets out the Caliph has been captured, many of the merchants will draw weapons, and try to clear the crowd, so the devious kidnapping deed can be done. A fight will ensue to protect the Caliph (if not player initiated, then an overly zealous kidnapper will initiate) and battle with rage within the city streets! The main objective for the players, of course, would be to save the Caliph, which through teamwork, will be accomplished!

How long do you plan to stay in the ET?

As long as you’ll have me :)

    Tell me a joke
