Welcome to the Pathfinder’s Guild of Laurelin! ~~~Basic Information~~~ This guild is the newest member of the Elven military, and is based on tracking, scouting and archery. Please note the guild is still new and under construction. The Pathfinders are led by Elven-Lord Blackthorn, who is working tirelessly to bring this guild to fruition. ~~~Joining the Guild~~~ To join the guild at the lowest rank of Pathfinder Initiate, a trainee must have 10 Archery and 5 Sword skill. This is to ensure new trainees can handle their weapons well, and are practiced with the Pathfinder’s chosen weapons. [Please note, you must be an elf to join] Post this information in a reply to this thread. ~~~Trading with the Guild~~~ The Pathfinders need many arrows for training and combat, we also need leather armour sets. If you can supply either of these, please post in this thread with what you can supply and how much you would like. ~~~Uniform~~~ The Pathfinder’s standard armour is a set of leather, however, this is only necessary when inside he guild house, in normal combat, any armour can be used according to preference. The Pathfinder’s are also serviced by a tailor, Zevandir, who creates skins for use by the Pathfinders. The thread is located here [http] and is free for any Pathfinders. More skins coming soon. ~~~Self Sufficiency~~~ The Pathfinders are a group of trackers, scouts and archers, meaning they need to be self-sufficient, meaning they should be able to supply their own armour, weapons and food. However, if in times of war or extreme need, a Pathfinder may BORROW from the communal chests. Pathfinders are also required to occasionally establish outposts, supply dumps and cut down trees for the supplies, of which wood is essential. Pathfinders should also carry the basics for a tent with them if they are travelling, to ensure a safe night. ~~~Training~~~ New initiates will be given a short training course and instructed to watch a short video [coming soon] that will teach them the basics, moving over terrain, jumping courses, pitching a tent, archery and outposts. ~~~Kit~~~ Each pathfinder when on duty must carry with them: Their tent kit [Torch, Bed, 10 blocks of choice, design provided to new Pathfinder's], their weapons [bow, around 64 arrows, a sword] and their uniform, to be worn in the camp and Headquarters [set of Leather, helm optional]. ~~~Current Missions~~~ Hello, the Pathfinder's are now introducing missions and active duty! Active duty is simply gathering resources or helping create far-flung camps at the moment, but we have missions that are ready! Mission 1 [Pathfinder's Only] Achieve 10 Archery Details: Achieve 10 archery. Rewards: 100m Mission 2 [Pathfinder's Only] Achieve 25 Archery Details: Achieve 25 archery. Rewards: 350m Mission 3 [Pathfinder's Only] Achieve 50 Archery Details: Achieve 50 archery. Rewards: 600m and Special Rank of Advanced Archer Mission 4 [Pathfinder's Only] Achieve 100 Archery Details: Achieve 100 archery. Rewards: 1100m and Special Rank of Elite Archer Mission 5 [Pathfinder's Only] Feather Collection! Details: Collect 64 Feathers. Rewards: 100m Mission 6 [Pathfinder's Only] Arrow Collection! Details: Collect 64 Arrows. Rewards: 100m ~~~Hiring and Building~~~ The Pathfinder's are now recruiting people to build things for us. We currently need these things built: Building Mission 1 [Anyone Eligible, Pathfinder's Preferred] Create Passive Mob Farm Details: Create a 200x200 room with a grass floor that is well lit, the area will be provided. This needs to be built udnerground, so it will need to be dug 200x200x3 then the floor replaced with dirt (we have grass blocks to get the grass going). Rewards: Current Mina value yet to be decided. For non-pathfinders, the secondary reward is a very high standing with the guild, and we will choose you over others for future builds. For Pathfinders, special rank. ~~~Pathfinder's Trading~~~ The Pathfinder's are now serviced by two shops, the Dungeon shop and the Travelling Shop. These are next to each other in South Laurelin. We also have an open stall in the Pathfinder Camp. This is equipped with an anvil and storage room below. 2k To purchase this shop (Please note, you should only sell things Pathfinders would buy, such as uniforms (Set of leather) and arms/food. For the right price, the Travelling and Dungeon shops can get you started with sets of leather and weapons. Sets of leather are sold from each shop for 300m to the owner of this stall, and we own about 20 sets combined.
