Hm. Well, despite the fact you chased them unless you actually hit them first they had no real reason to attack you. If you did in fact hit one of them first, then they are permitted to attack you back. However, people often run from combat and then suddenly turn around and initiate PvP when being chased, it's unfortunate and should be against the rules (If it is not already) but as things are not much can really be done about it. People love those pixels, that's all I can really say.

If they had already agreed to an RP fight then both parties would have needed to agree before it was changed to PvP. If what type of combat was going to be used was not discussed then there shouldn't have been a fight to begin with.

You'll just need however many people it needs active to be online when it does the weekly check I guess.

We are a player run faction, yes, however we did have GM approval before this attack. Intentions had been to provide some RP, though that becomes difficult when a few among us call out PvP and when the mass of players begin to complain. Despite all of that, to my knowledge Phaedrus, you were also the only player killed with magic, though I will admit that should not have occurred.
