  1. MC Name: Volutional

    Character's Name: Ri'Shiva

    Character's Age: 42

Character's Original Race (N/A if not applicable):

             Kha'Pantera

    Transformed form:

             n/a

    Creator's MC Name:

             n/a

    Creator's RP Name:

             n/a

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Metztli delved into her daemonic pools and the Kharajyr were risen out of the numerous mutilated constructions that she had set aside. Finally, [she] had created [her] perfect specimen. Feline, almost like an ocelot but far more humanoid. The Kharajyr more often than not will worship their deity. It has been known that she would bless some Kharajyr with small boons that others would put to chance – age, strength or even magical prowess. If she can give these gifts, then of course it is entirely possible that she might take them away.

Speaking with barbed tongues has highlighted the Kharajyr as the second most illegible races, the first being the Orcs, naturally. In the past they have hidden themselves away in jungle paradises, caved into vast temples and ancient tombs where their mummified remains would be forever travelling with Metztli in her realm. In these times, the Tlatlanni would rule, and upon their throne they would command the Kharajyr to do all manner of hunting. Now, their thrones lie cold and their tombs are forgotten. If not for households cats, the world of Arcas would likely forget about the Kharajyr altogether.

The Kharajyr were once the few natives of Asulon. It is not known whether they had much communication with the Mori’Quessir, but the secluded nature of both cultures suggests that this was unlikely. Going through many Tlatlanni through the ages, the most notable recently rulers have been Tlatlanni Tiazar and Tlatlanni Morthawl, the latter being the last Tlatlanni to truly hold the title to its substance. Beneath the Tlatlanni are usually the Aelkos – cultural roles whereupon the assistance of Kharajyr lifestyle, culture, defence and religion is paramount. There has never been a descendant leadership role (or, as the Kharajyr were known to refer to them as ‘apes’). This is because the descendants were not initially accepted within Karakatuan culture. They were shunned, and so too was the association with them. This began to change during Anthosian days, when Tlatlanni Morthawl was known to forge strong alliances with all manner of descendants in order to secure safety for the Kharajyr.

Metztli created four variants of the Kharajyr. These sub-races each were bestowed a different gift. The Kha’Tigrasi were known for their strength and pride. Kha’Cheetrah, their speed and agility. Kha’Pantera, their guile and aptitude with hunting. And the Kha’Leperda – a sub-race of the Kharajyr that has always been overlooked by onlookers to their society. This variant had the most valuable gift of all, modesty, in that they did not seem to fit into one specific archetype.

  2. I’ve fished around almost everywhere and to everybody I can get in touch with, and unfortunately I still don’t have the correct forum rank on the forums. If somebody could sort this out, I’d be much appreciated (should be Bedrock!).

Also, the VIP Forum Rank thread was archived. Not sure if this was on purpose, but it’d be useful to have it back as that was the only way I knew to get this problem fixed.

Also, /freja sync didn’t work (see my profile to the left, it now has both ranks).

  3. I will always be pro-RP combat purely because I’m not here for Minecraft, so I have no interest in honing my ‘skills’ in combat (clicking). If the server had something like an MMO, abilities and character-specific traits and all of that, I would be keen to let PvP be a huge part of the experience. For me, I’ve seen people [/looc how many people are attacking me?] just so they can see whether PvP would be easier for them. That defeats the RP, it kills the experience. I think a better attitude to combat is all that’s needed, though I would love to see character-specific traits and bonuses granted by the story team. Even if it’s +1 to damage because so-and-so once fought a dragon and won.

As a Kha’Tigrasi, Sa’Morak is a prideful bastard with no limit to his ego – he takes excellent satisfaction in presenting his beauty to anyone, even descendants, but only in the guise of being worshipped himself, like Metztli, for he is a creation of perfection. It is literal sense to him.

(I’ve had a Kharajyr character since roughly the start of the race, but I can tell you more about their whiskers if you want...)

    This application is now pending

Hey there, let's see about getting Mortes into the world of Axios!

Some sections of your application aren't quite finished, so if you could complete these: (Role-playing, meta-gaming and power-emoting) That would be fantastic! Ensure they are in your own words so that we know you have understood the rules.

I've placed this application on pending. No need to worry, this just means that there are some additions that I can see being made before your character is ready for the world of Axios. If you could make these changes before 24 hours of this post, then I can check back and potentially accept this application. Once you have done this, send me a private message on the forums, on my forum wall, or message me in game. I'll try my best to reply quickly so you can get straight into roleplay.

    Changes

    Lord of the Rings,

I can really understand the slight confusion that this server is related to LoTR - it isn't, however. LoTC is a different world and set of lore, so if you could adapt your application to reflect this that would be great.

    Strengths and Weaknesses,

Mortes seems to be quite good at combat, but where did this knowledge come from? If his strengths and weaknesses could be reflected in his biography, that would help the application. I'd really like to know more about your character.

    Minecraft Skin,

Please provide a screenshot of your character's skin! If you need help with this you can use this guide here.

If you could make these changes within 24 hours of this post, then I will be able to review again and potentially accepted Mortes into the world of Axios! If not then it will mean a denial for now, but you can always apply later.
