I think we should make a chapel. We can go there to pray to the Aeriel for help. And every now and then we could have mass.
OOC: It would be a good RP way to /tell one of the Ascended.

Brief Character History: I was Captain of Snowy Fields and I was a Rytier of the Alstion rangers(that means I led a group of rangers, there are only 2 Rytiers)
Character Name (I.C.): Tylos
Character name (O.C.): james2k
Race: Human, Northerner
IC Age: 38
Goals in the FOA?: My goals are to help Aegis the best I can and worship the Aeriel and the Ascended as well.
Good deeds you have done?: I have helped defend Alstion and Snowy Fields from many attacks.((they were both destroyed at times when I was asleep so I couldn't help but every battle I was around for we won))
Have you done any bad deeds?: Not really.
How did you hear of us?: I saw a poster on a bulletin board
Are you against the Undead? Please explain why: I am against the Undead because they destroyed my home, the North.*wipes a tear*
Can you wield a blade?: Yes.
Are you a capable builder?: No.
Are you an archer?: I am not really a great archer.
Any special skills?: I am very good at tactics.
Do you have faith in the Ascendeds return and will you tell of this to others? Please explain why: I have faith in the Ascended because they have Aengul blood so they can defeat the Undead when they return and I'm sure they will return because the Ascended never lie.
Explain how you will help to serve the FOA, and through us, the Ascended and Aeriel: I will help fight the Undead and I already worship the Ascended and the Aeriel.

You know our planned shop, someone else has reserved a plot right across from us for a shop. This is bad because that means that we need to make our building look more appealing than there's to make people check our shop first. We also need to have lower prices than them and more items in stock.

(( Lol tylos stop pissing everyone off
((What I understood was he said "Everyone is saying how they loved Bell now when she's dead" and then I was just saying that is is hard to realize what you have before it's gone.))

Maybe you could show all the capital cities and Haven. Then you show undead marching through portals out of the nether, a town being destroyed and then that town disappearing off the map. The winners could stand in their kingdom's capital next to their King, Prince or Rex.

Ah, It is good to see another Therving. We should meet by the Inn in Alstion, for we have much to discuss.
Yes but I may take a while getting there as I am in Alkhazar.

So many are quick to express how enamored they were with Bell, now that she has passed. Love is an easy word to say when there's nobody to hear it, and a selfish one when you want everyone else to listen.
Next time be quicker and truer about the feelings you harbor, lest you leave another to travel down a path toward death and lonesome.
"You don't know what you have until it's gone." That is a saying that suites this moment perfectly.

I think I am a Therving. My father Owyn recently passed away and he said he was a cousin of a man named Harold the fourth(IV)and that I should seek him. I searched for Harold but I could never find him. I am glad to find that I know his son. Anyway if my father was your father's cousin then that means I'm a second cousin of yours.

It never said that the base was a secret... If it is then I fully support your descision to make it look ordinary.
(If it is then the undead will probably look here and metagame anyway XD)
OOC: Yeah. Everyone metagames a little and there are tons of undead so one of them is bound to metagame and pretend they found out IC.

So why did you say you killed them?
The meaning of to kill is "To cause to die".
OOC: Humans never seem to die until they want to start anew either....
OOC: I was talking IC and I was answering an idiot who though undead weren't dead.

Ahh, but we don't want the settlement to blend in do we? It's meant to be the base of the holy ascended
But do we want the undead to be suspicious?

The building style really depends on what you are thinking on, like, if you want utility (easiest to defend from undead, then use sandstone for the walls to be resistant, but if you purely want to go for looks, using a mix of yellow wool and glowstone would look cool if used right. Of course, I'm supposing you'll say you want a mix, so I'd suggest Sandstone walls with glowstone lining the top and bottom. To make the wall even more efficient against fireballs, you can use this layout for the sandstone
x x x x x x x
X is sandstone, and basically, doing this uses the same amount as a normal wall would, but has a 50/50 chance to reduce the damage of a fireball. I'll explain it here
x x x x x x
...o
O is the fireball, and here it is going to hit the outer layer. Because of that, it has made the fireball even more useless. It uses up one layer of the fireball's explosion radius!
I hope that was useful. I'll edit this soon and show you how useful sandstone is against fireball.
Cobblestone like sandstone can't be lit on fire and why would we use sandstone so far North? We aren't in Krugmar so getting cobblestone is much easier.

I'm glad the Ascended are making a city in the north to help us defeat the undead. Also the shrine idea is a brilliant way to get Ascended from one of their cities to another quickly. Maybe the Ascended should make a shrine in every kingdoms capital too in case they are attacked? The building would be locked to everyone but the Ascended so only they can use the shrine.

I want to help.

Where is your memorial? I would like to pay my respects.

Rest in Piece Bell.
Your effort at defending Snowy Fields until the bitter end will never be forgotten.
(OOC: That memorial looks like crap btw, give it some more effort than some bricks
of sandstone with dirt floating in the air, my ten year old could do better)
OOC: Calm down.

Farewell Bell.
I still remember when we first met, and the last time we met, i will miss you, and all the Mages will miss you, We have lost one of our own.
Who could ever take her place?
0 -
She turned Latsi from being an evil Iblees worshipper into an Ascended, something only she could do.
0 -
I don't, I just happen to have a place there
I know you live there.

OOC: Fail
OOC: Fail. When you are becoming undead you get killed. Undead isn't just a name.

((Nope they had agreed pre battle to the rules , because their moving to somewhere else ))
((They weren't moving when we were attacked the first few times. They were asleep so the undead broke the rules. And they can attack you because now Grimbeard is your temporary leader.

That is Not True Undead are Not truly Undead thats just a name.
They are a Live barely that is..
But they can die.
Even if they cant Die they can be banished.
Tell that to the all the undead I've killed. They'd be shocked because they are still alive and they aren't banished either.

This will be the easiest attack ever... With incompetent fools like grimbeard in charge, alstion will crumble... He was kicked out of the Orem guard for gods sake!
You live in Alstion!

*Sends Ivrae a letter*
The King cares more for Alkhazar than Oren. He never sends men when other cities need them and instead he lets them get fat sitting in Alkhazar doing nothing. His mind is set on expanding Alkhazar when it should be on trying to protect the North, the most vulnerable part of Oren from the Undead. He doesn't care if other towns and cities get destroyed as long as Alkhazar is fine. He might as well just be the mayor of Alkhazar instead of the King of Oren. He is a very nice man but only to those that live in or near Alkhazar. He lets everyone else out to dry but he makes people think he wants to help.
OOC: By the way, all my letters in this thread were anonymous because I never mentioned who I was in them.
