*Sat upon the silver throne as he receives this missive. His eyes widen as he used to be part of the Norlandic region, memories of his past come to the present and with a heavy sigh he begins to write down a missive and send it off to The Mareno Company for a meeting. 

*While waiting for the meeting to start he pops open some Smiling dwarf brew. "Looks like Ando Alur has a chance at making some more allies, after the shuul have been removed we may need more in any case they come back." He mutters to himself.

After the meeting had concluded and handshakes have been made Ando Alur decided to accept the offering.

Well! Unless I suck at counting (Which is very possible), July 28th was my 10 year anniversary with LOTC. Sadly, my old mind forgot about the special date, so I am doing this abit late. When I first joined the server I was only a wee lad with broad ambitions. I joined around the same time as a large group from BattleCraft joined (A very old pvp server), unsure if there any of us left at this point. Some of you may remember me and some of you may not, I mainly stayed in my own groups and never really did anything big. That has changed recently with my return a few months back! 

I have had some great moments in my past and made great friends that I will forever continue that friendship. I am very happy to take the title as one of the oldest veterans still playing on LOTC. Oh, and @ImCookiie Im still the real cookie!

11th Helena Livery Board, 1776

Having been elected as Livery Speaker by majority vote of the Livery Masters of the Imperial City of Helena, Kinsrell Commandore takes the stand. As the Livery Masters and the City Government officials find their seats in Varoche Hall, he begins at once.

“Honorable Colleagues,

Today we shall call to order the first sitting of the Helena Livery Board for the mayoral term 1776-1780. I shall now commence with the roll.”

A clerk walks with his head lowered towards the Livery Speaker, provides him a scroll with the names of the attendees. He begins to recite each of the names of the Livery Masters in order of precedence:

The Livery Speaker raises his hand as he stands before a lectern, imploring all of his colleagues to follow suit: at once the Livery Masters rise, as individual assistants scramble to provide their superiors with the proper paperwork. Once all were ready, they collectively spoke:

”I swear to be true to the Emperor and the realm and not to maintain silence about any evil that I may know which is being contemplated against them. I swear to work tirelessly to the betterment of the Empire and the Orenian people that comprise it. I swear also not to eat or drink with traitors and not to have anything in common with them, and always to defend the honor of the gentlemen I serve. This I swear by the Holy Scrolls.”

Once the oath was concluded, all the Livery Masters returned to their seats - except for the Livery Speaker, who then opened the floor to the business of the Helena Livery Board. In addition to the Livery Masters, the following City Government officials were present in Varoche Hall:

Helena Gambling Hall (With a Chess Floor1)

Grand Opening!!!!

This event is open to everyone!

Do you have what it takes to become a Grand-master of Chess???

Do you have the skills that will kill the competition???

Do you wish to take a chance at Carrington Craps???

Well you have come to the right place! The new Gambling Hall will have it’s re-opening very soon and during that event a Chess Tournament will be held! During this event you will have a chance to claim the title of Grand Master of the realm solely in Chess! Your name will be displayed within the Gambling Hall as such. Now this is not the only prize if you win! There will be a chance to win 1,500 Mina and a Labyrinth Prize! 

Tournaments will be held once every 1 to 2 weeks!

Tournament Date: 5/24/2020 3:30 PM PST

Tournament Details:

• 100 mina participation fee
• Everyone’s time is valuable! So, these are timed matches. You will have 8 seconds for each turn. (This will be timed and a strike system is in place. Since it is a chess floor, the time starts once the head breaks.)
• This will go on for multiple days if we get many sign-ups! 
• We are using general rules for chess (Besides the time rule) 
• Will be held in the Gambling Hall at Helena.
