  1. Out-Of-Character Details Minecraft Account Name: deadlyrainbow How old are you?: Nineteen Time-Zone/Country of Residence: -5GMT, USA Do you have a good grip on English grammar and the English language?: Yes Have you had any previous experience in roleplaying?: Yes, several years of play-by-post role plays, and quite a few RPG's. Have you read and understood and agree to the rules?: Yes How did you hear about the Lord of the Craft?: Found it on MC forums Link any previous applications you have made to the Lord of the Craft: I did apply once before, but it seems as if my application has been deleted, because I cannot find it. That was back in June though, so I don't believe it should be counting against my strikes for applying since it has been well over three months. Have you posted this application on Minecraft Forum?: Just did. Definitions In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: Playing a character and acting out as they would, instead of how you, as the player, would. In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Meta-gaming is using knowledge that your character could not possibly know in character. Such as seeing a nameplate through a wall and saying that your characters knows someone's there, or reading something on the forum and having your character know about it somehow magically in character. In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: Not giving another character the option to react to what your own character is doing. In-Character Details Character Name: 'Mal' Laan'Bahr Character Race: Orc Character biography: While she was born into the Bahr clan, her parents simply called her by Mal at the time. She had been quite energetic for a baby and child, which was what landed her that nickname in the first place, Mal meaning 'crazy' to her parents. Both of her parents were quite strong and hearty indeed, but she honestly preferred her mother, who was a teacher of their clan’s traditions. From a young age she was taught about the clan, having quite an extensive knowledge on it and not really ever feeling the urge to leave and venture elsewhere. Old clan stories about the several Drog'Bahr were told to here before bed, and the pride and passion she felt for the Bahr developed well before she was old enough to take the coming of age ceremony. Mal was overeager when she was young, actually having gone up to Drog'Bahr III and asking to undergo the clan's initiation before any really believed she was even ready. Well, any besides her parents at least, those two seemed to be the only ones confident in her capability. The banner was almost reluctantly given to her, but she still took it with pride and went outside the clan's fort with nothing except for the clothes on her back and the large piece of white cloth. A couple months later she returned with the banner painted red in blood and covered in dirt as well, and she was dragging the dead body of a jabbernack that was as young as her behind. It certainly wasn't easy for her to accomplish such a feat, but she had developed a strategy for it long before she set out on her adventure. For the first few days she had merely been focusing on setting up a base camp for herself, somewhere that she knew she would be safe. And while she did hunt and kill a goat and other smaller animals, she wasn't satisfied to use their blood for her banner and instead used their meat to survive, their bones for tools, and their fur for warmth. Mal's next task was to dig out a large hole in the thick foliage where she knew wild jabbernack's frequented from her observations before starting her challenge, and she was careful to make sure none were around each time she went to continue digging, hiding the excess dirt away and covering the surface of it with a thin cover made of branches, which she covered with wide leaves and then dirt. It took some time for it to seem natural again, jabbernacks refusing to go near the spot in the beginning. But after about a month passed and she started placing meat out on it to lure them, she finally knew she had succeeded when she heard the angered and distressed roars of a jabbernack. She used a spear that she had made from bones and wood to stab it to death, having aimed for the vital spots to not prolong the poor creatures suffering. Afterwards, she had to go through the trouble of digging out a ramp, and only then she returned home after painting her banner red with its blood. Formally accepted into the clan, she was given the name Laan'Bahr, Laan being a sort of slang for smart. For several years she has proudly served her clan and done all she has can for it, and now she has taken her mother's place as the one who's in charge of teaching others about the traditions of her beloved clan. Her methods are effective, if not sometimes violent, and her heart's always in the right place. Let's just say she has the tendency to harshly punish potential initiates harshly when they go against any of the clan's precepts. She has even taught the current leader, Drog'Bahr VI, so she's pretty confident in her teachings and proud of any of her students who pass the coming of age ceremony. By now she is over two and a half centuries old, two hundred fifty-three to be exact, and she stands at seven feet and three inches. She has dark brown hair, which she keeps short mostly so it won't get in the way, and her skin is an olive green color. She also has large tusks that grow over he upper lip, and her eyes are a light and almost warm brown color. Her body is certainly on the muscular side, and her bust is quite impressive and obvious with how little clothing she tends to wear. Laan'Bahr barely wears enough animal leather to keep her breasts and nether regions covered, showing off her large stature and muscles and the numerous scars and blemishes she has accumulated over the years. What are your characters ambitions?: To help continue the Bahr clan's traditions by teaching new and potential clan members of their ways. And to help her clan in any way that she can. Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here: Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: She's capable of speaking 'Da Blah' that's common among orcs and the language common to humans and elves and dwarves, but she's not completely fluent in them and has the heavy accent of her clan, the Bahr. Open-Response-Questions Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short. Fuuuu- I hate first person and will not be writing in it while on the server. Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? Disliking being so far away from her home and her clan, Laan'Bahr walked into the human settlement with long and powerful strides. Her light brown orbs barely spared the dwarf a glance before she looked back ahead and continued walking. "Excuse me, would you be interested-," the dwarf started calling out to her, but was cut off before he could even be finished asking his question. "Nub," she said quickly and concisely, continuing to walk on and not even sparing him a second glance. The large woman simply wasn't interested, this dwarf's struggles of succeeding in this city were no concern of hers. She just wanted to finish her business here as soon as possible, and then be on her way. You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? Brown eyes narrow dangerously, the only warning given before Laan'Bahr steps into action. "Wud lat grunk'n, bout to klomp on uh nubhosh gazat?" She stands at her full height as she moves to get between them, clearly not liking the scene that was unfolding. "Bah! Geet out me way," the other orc demands, attempting to push past her and get to the dwarf. However, the strong woman stood fast, and she shoved back against the other roughly and growled lowly in warning. "Hab lat nub engku, shiksha?!" She took an aggressive stance now, ready to fight for this dwarf's honor because she believed the smaller one was too weak to do so himself. And maybe she was getting a little ahead of herself because she knew nothing of the situation before she showed up, but she sure as hell knew that she didn't like to see the weak being picked on by the strong. Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: "Yud okoy?" Laan'Bahr asked as she instantly dropped down to pick the poor man back up, trying to talk in as close as she could to common speak. And after she set him down on his feet carefully next to a tree he could use to keep himself up, she went back to collect all of his coins back up and give them back to him, having a little trouble because of how large her hands are. "Yes, thank you... I can't exactly get back home with my stick broken now, though," he said with a frown as he leaned against the tree heavily, attaching the bag back to his belt. Nodding, the green woman picked him up bridal style with ease, cradling him carefully in her arms and careful not to harm his old bones. "Wer yud lib?" He gave her directions back to his home, where she dropped him off with his family, asking for the directions that she was going to inquire from the old man in the first place before going off on her way. **Note: I humbly request for Swgrclan to grade this app since I heard his character is also a part of the Bahr clan. Also, I've gained permission from Archbower to make this character... Dunno if that matters, but yeah.
